CosmicExpress, week of 15 October

Posted on Oct 15th, 2006 by Tom Sidebottom : Concrescence Enabler Tom Sidebottom
We’re looking at the week beginning 15 October. It’s just after the Third Quarter; the Moon will approach the  New Moon in Libra by week’s end. Now’s the time to release what you no longer need, to explore your inner life, and to prepare for the start of the next lunar cycle.

Theme transits this week: There are several planetary configurations that last most all week. The first we’ve seen for months now: Jupiter, Saturn, and Neptune form a T-square. The Jupiter/Saturn cycle has strong business and societal implications: we’re coming down to earth from being overly inflated. Jupiter/Saturn asks us to re-evaluate our relationship to our material possessions and our overall expectations about the world. It’s gaining a philosophy of life from experience. Experience may not be glamorous or exciting, but it’s vital to stay grounded.

Saturn opposed Neptune can be problematic. Saturn wants to create structure, to define the world. Neptune wants us to attain the transcendent. Combining these two we find ourselves groping for structure that we want and need but that we can’t quite grasp - or wanting to escape from stifling structure that we don’t need. Physically the energies are taxing to the body, so be sure to get great nutrition and plenty of rest.

Jupiter square Neptune is a strange mixture of the mystical and the foolhardy. At its highest level Jupiter / Neptune is the opening to the transcendent and to profound mystical experience. Its lower manifestations, though, expose us to illusions and fantasies that can become delusive. The influences of drugs and alcohol magnify, as do risks in speculation.

The good news is that this T-Square is beginning to break up. Saturn moves out of contact with Neptune this week. Jupiter and Saturn form an exact square this week; after this week Jupiter begins to move away from Saturn.

Mercury conjoins Jupiter this week. Mercury and Jupiter normally mean expansive thinking: thinking about large opportunities, about travel, about expansion. But the T-Square complicates this. Mercury / Saturn is careful and analytical, while Mercury / Neptune is given to mystical insights, flights of fancy, and pursuing illusions and dreams. We should have real opportunities to advance in business - just as long as we keep our feet on the ground. It’s not time to give in to lofty visions that have no grounding in reality.

The Sun conjoins Mars and Venus in Libra all week, and the energies increase as the week goes on. This is a highly supportive aspect for physical health and relationship growth. Because the conjunction trines Neptune and sextiles Saturn we may finally have a bridge from the difficult lessons of the Jupiter / Saturn / Neptune T-Square. It’s time to begin integrating what we’ve learned from having limitations and questions about our direction over the past few months. Explore relationships and the arts.

On the 15th
we start the week with the Moon in Leo approaching a conjunction with Saturn and the T-Square. This intensifies tomorrow, bringing emotional questions to the fore.

16 Oct:  The Moon conjoins Saturn and the T-Square with Jupiter and Neptune today. Moon/Jupiter is normally expansive and loving, but there are real challenges with Saturn and Neptune. Saturn forces us to analyze our relationships, and can be a bit of a downer. The Saturn and Neptune push-pull comes into play: emotionally we want our ideal vision, but physically we see reality all too well. Keep your perspective; avoid confrontation.

17 Oct: The Moon opposes Uranus today. Expect some unsettled emotional states: possibly upset or surprises. Keep your cool and remember that this lasts just through tomorrow.

18 Oct
: The Moon continues to oppose Uranus today. One more day to experience the ups and downs of Uranus in emotional matters: keep your cool!

19 Oct: The Moon moves on to square Pluto today. There’s the possibility for emotional control issues and obsessive behavior to surface - keep your perspective.

20 Oct: The Moon in Libra is approaching the New Moon, but there are no outstanding aspects today.

21 Oct:  The Moon is Full tomorrow, and we should begin feeling the power of our emotions joining with the Sun / Venus / Mars conjunction. This is the day to open to relationships and to emotional healing. Take a breather and experience the fullness of life.

CosmicExpress, week of 22 October

Posted on Oct 22nd, 2006 by Tom Sidebottom : Concrescence Enabler Tom Sidebottom
We’re looking at the week beginning 22 October. We start the week with the New Moon in Libra. It’s time to launch into projects - especially those appropriate to Autumn.

Theme transits this week: There are several planetary configurations that last most all week. The T-Square between Jupiter, Saturn, and Neptune finally breaks this week. We continue to experience the Jupiter / Saturn square for a week or two more, however.

Mercury conjoins Jupiter this week. Mercury and Jupiter normally mean expansive thinking: thinking about large opportunities, about travel, about expansion. Mercury / Saturn is careful and analytical.

Because the conjunction sextiles Saturn we may finally have a bridge from the difficult lessons of the Jupiter / Saturn Square. It’s time to begin integrating what we’ve learned from having limitations and questions about our direction over the past few months. Explore relationships and the arts.

On the 22nd we start the week with the Moon in Libra just past the New Moon. With the powerful conjunction of Sun, Moon, Venus, and Mars all in Libra this should be a positive, strengthening time. Spend time with those you love, and open to art and possibly to passion.

23 Oct:  The Moon squares Neptune today, opening the possibility for mystical insight or emotional delusion. How it manifests depends on your approach: avoid drugs and alcohol and look inward. It’s a great time for some meditative work.

24 Oct: The Moon conjoins Mercury and Jupiter and squares Saturn today. Moon / Mercury opens the door to communicate about emotional issues, and Jupiter provides sound support. Saturn wants us to define our emotional lives - and can bring up difficulties with those we love.

25 Oct: The Moon squares Uranus today causing a shift from the stolid Saturn we experienced yesterday to an emotional roller-coaster. Keep your cool and maybe enjoy the thrills! Take just a little time to relax and rest the emotional circuits to avoid overload.

26 Oct: The Moon moves on to conjoin Pluto today. There’s the possibility for emotional control issues and obsessive behavior to surface - keep your perspective.

27 Oct
: The Moon in Capricorn trines the Sun and Mars today, giving us a physical boost in energy. Spend some time in play with those you love!

28 Oct
:  The Moon sextiles Jupiter and Mercury today, ending the week on an expansive tone emotionally. It’s a great time to communicate your feelings to those you love - and explore the power of gratitude - that’s the Jupiter energy.

CosmicExpress, week of 29 October

Posted on Oct 29th, 2006 by Tom Sidebottom : Concrescence Enabler Tom Sidebottom
We’re looking at the week beginning 29 October. We start the week with the First Quarter,  in Libra. It’s time to continue efforts to bring projects into full flower.

Theme transits this week: There are several planetary configurations that last most all week. We continue to experience the Jupiter / Saturn square for a week or two more, however.

Mercury is retrograde all week - it’s actually much less bad than its rap. The focus is on working on things we’ve started before: now’s the time to rework and make things perfect. It’s not an ideal time to start new projects.

The conjunction we felt between Mercury and Jupiter continues all this week. Mercury and Jupiter normally mean expansive thinking: thinking about large opportunities, about travel, about expansion. Mercury / Saturn is careful and analytical. We should have real opportunities to advance in business - just as long as we keep our feet on the ground. It’s not time to give in to lofty visions that have no grounding in reality.

The Sun continues to conjoin Mars and Venus in Libra all week. This is the last week for this powerful configuration. This is a highly supportive aspect for physical health and relationship growth. Because the conjunction sextiles Saturn we may finally have a bridge from the difficult lessons of the Jupiter / Saturn Square. It’s time to begin integrating what we’ve learned from having limitations and questions about our direction over the past few months. Explore relationships and the arts.

Uranus moves to trine the Sun / Venus / Mars conjunction as the week unfolds. Uranus is the cosmic roller-coaster and mutation agent. When trine we find sudden physical energy rushes that should be positive and health-producing. It’s time to get at exercise - and if you’re inclined, incorporate a bit of passion into your exercise program! Artistic production is at its height, so explore the aesthetic. Speculative ventures are potentially profitable.

On the 29th we start the week with the Moon in Aquarius is at the First Quarter, impelling us to work on our projects for this lunar cycle. The added conjunction of Sun, Moon, Venus, and Mars all in Libra make this a positive, strengthening time. Spend time with those you love, and open to art and possibly to passion. Avoid confrontations - keep ride on your temper!

30 Oct:  The Moon conjoins Neptune today, opening the possibility for mystical insight or emotional delusion. How it manifests depends on your approach: avoid drugs and alcohol and look inward. It’s a great time for some meditative work.

31 Oct
: The Moon approaches Uranus today - we’ll feel it mostly tomorrow. But the Moon begins to trine the Sun / Venus / Mars conjunction, providing emotional warmth and expansion. (Happy Samhain!)

1 Nov
: The Moon conjoins Uranus today and trines Sun / Venus / Mars: emotional changes (that’s the Uranus) should provide positive support for relationships and for the physical body. Spend a little time with those you love: the energies are right for support and growth in relationship.  Just take just a little time to relax and rest the emotional circuits to avoid overload.

2 Nov: The Moon moves on to square Pluto today. There’s the possibility for emotional control issues and obsessive behavior to surface - keep your perspective.  But the Moon trines Mercury / Jupiter, which provides real support for communication and spiritual work. Maybe it’s the time to open those inner secrets with your lover and delve a little deeper!

3 Nov: The Moon sextiles Neptune today, giving us a breather - opening the opportunity for inner work.

4 Nov:  The Moon trines Saturn and Pluto today, forming a Grand Trine in Fire. This is an excellent time to explore within.
