CosmicExpress, week of 2 December

Posted on Dec 2nd, 2007 by Tom Sidebottom : Concrescence Enabler Tom Sidebottom
We’re looking at the week beginning 2 December 2007. The Moon is just shy of New at the week’s end. Especially at this time of year when the earth is turning inward, take a breather and take a careful look at yourself. Harvest your work from this lunar cycle, and prepare to release those things you no longer need.

Theme transits this week
: The Sun squares Saturn and Uranus all week. Saturn and Uranus are almost diametrically opposite in meaning. Saturn wants to constrict and define; Uranus wants the new and sudden change. This contact is problematic for physical energy: the body is pressed by time concerns and worries, and simultaneously experiences increased tension. Doubt and negative fears can creep in. The key is positive body work: good food, lots of rest, and positive thinking. It’s an excellent time to do a self-evaluation: where are you and where do you want to head next. Stress reduction is also key: turn down the energy and let the body begin to heal.

Jupiter continues to conjoin Pluto this week, and Venus is sextile to both. Jupiter is expansion, and Pluto is intensity. This configuration can promote strong business activity and breakthroughs. Because it’s a combination between two slow-moving planets, this influence is likely to be subtle. Don’t expect instant miracles, but begin to push on dormant business projects, especially if they have appeal to mass audiences. Venus’s influence is strongly favorable for romantic relationships; these may have some relation with business.
Venus trines Neptune and sextiles Jupiter and Pluto all week. This is fantastic for artistic work and for a developing sense of relationship support. Take advantage of opportunities to connect spiritually with your partner.

The week’s net: The major stressor this week is Saturn’s and Uranus’s drive to define us physically. Watch for excessive nervous tension. Leave plenty of time for physical recuperation and healing, and avoid getting caught by negative thinking and fear.

On the 2nd we start the week with the Moon squaring Jupiter and Uranus. This is an emotionally expansive supportive time - which may have some bearing on business. Watch for excessive consumption!

3 Dec:  The Moon sextiles the Sun and Mercury today, providing support emotionally. Enjoy time with your partner. Communication may become emotionally charged.

4 Dec: The Moon continues to sextile the Sun, continuing yesterday’s support. This is particularly valuable considering the Sun’s aspects this week with Saturn and Uranus.

5 Dec: The Moon conjoins Venus and sextiles Jupiter and Pluto, expanding emotional energy and supporting it. Enjoy some close time with your partner.

6 Dec: The Moon sextiles Saturn and trines Uranus today. This again provides much needed support to the Sun and its conflict-tinged aspects this week with Saturn and Uranus. Moon and Saturn stabilize the emotions, while Moon and Uranus open to new experiences and sudden change. It’s likely to be a day of reversals - but the time should be easy and flowing, nonetheless.

7 Dec:  The Moon squares Neptune today. While very good for internal meditation work, this aspect creates unrealistic emotional states and illusory feelings. Stay aware and be cautious in communication; deception or mistakes may arise. Avoid drugs and alcohol.

8 Dec: The Moon closes the week just shy of the New Moon. It’s an intense aspect with squares the Saturn and Neptune, paralleling the aspects to the Sun. It’s emotionally challenging with both feelings of restriction and limitation combined with sudden reversals and nervous tension. Take time off if you can and keep your perspective!

CosmicExpress, week of 9 December

Posted on Dec 8th, 2007 by Tom Sidebottom : Concrescence Enabler Tom Sidebottom
We’re looking at the week beginning 9 December 2007. The Moon opens the week forming the last New Moon of the year. It’s a powerful one that contacts Mercury, Uranus, and Saturn. There’s continued emotional pressure, the possibility for sudden emotional shifts, and the potential to feel a bit down. That energy lifts at the week continues. As it’s the start of the lunar cycle, press forward and launch your projects for the upcoming cycle.

Theme transits this week
: The Sun and Mercury finally separate from their squares to Saturn and Uranus. This significantly eases the tension we’ve been feeling the last week or so. The Sun separates first from Saturn, so we’ll feel an easing of constriction and limitation. The square to Uranus lasts until mid-week, so expect continued sudden change, new opportunities, and nervous tension. The key still is positive body work: good food, lots of rest, and positive thinking. It’s an excellent time to do a self-evaluation: where are you and where do you want to head next. Stress reduction is also key: turn down the energy and let the body heal. Mercury continues to square Uranus all week, so we’ll feel nervous tension - but also the possibility for significant inspiration and intellectual breakthroughs.

Jupiter continues to conjoin Pluto this week.

Venus trines Mars and sextiles Saturn all week. This provides both passion and physical energy along with the desire for deep understanding and significant work. The contact is great for relationship, where it promotes stable unfolding of emotions and passion, but it’s also great for business dealings and negotiations.

The week’s net: We have a chance to rest after the past few weeks. The energies to the Sun continue to create the opportunity for business breakthrough - at the cost of nervous tension. On the other hand, there’s great support in relationship.

On the 9th we start the week with the New Moon conjoining Mercury and square both Saturn and Uranus. This is emotional pressure - sudden emotional shifts, conflicting flows of feeling. There’s the possibility for depression, so keep your balance and open a bit to healing energy by slowing down, focusing within, and releasing tension.

10 Dec:  The Moon conjoins Jupiter and Pluto today. The shift to positive emotional experience is rapid. This is an excellent time for business negotiations. Avoid excessive consumption!

11 Dec: The Moon opposes Mars, sextiles Venus, and trines Saturn today. Emotional energy continues to stabilize. Spend time in your most important relationships: it’s time to explore your relationship physically. Saturn works to stabilize, while Mars warms feelings - with the tendency to argument.

12 Dec: The Moon is quiet today, so take a bit of a breather!

13 Dec: The Moon squares Venus today, drawing energy from Venus’s aspects to Mars and Saturn. It’s another great time to work in your close relationships. As the year wanes, and the Sun’s cycle draws to a close, pull back home and enjoy the energy you find there.

14 Dec:  The Moon conjoins Neptune today. While very good for internal meditation work, this aspect creates unrealistic emotional states and illusory feelings. Stay aware and be cautious in communication; deception or mistakes may arise. Avoid drugs and alcohol. Fortunately a sextile to Mercury supports us, and makes inner work profoundly beneficial

15 Dec: The Moon closes sextiling the Sun and Mercury, and trining Mars. It’s just shy of opposing Saturn and conjoining Saturn. It’s another chance to take a breather - and we’ll start to feel the Uranian drive for the new conflicting with Saturn’s goal of stability.

CosmicExpress, week of 16 December

Posted on Dec 15th, 2007 by Tom Sidebottom : Concrescence Enabler Tom Sidebottom
We’re looking at the week beginning 9 December 2007. The Moon forms the First Quarter on the 17th with a powerful configuration we’ll discuss below. Evaluate your progress so far in your work for this lunar cycle, make adjustments, and press forward.

Yule on the 21st is an incredibly energy-packed chart. Plan some time for introspection, planning, and to launch the New Year.

Theme transits this week
: The Sun and Mercury approach a powerful conjunction to Jupiter and Pluto, and an opposition to Mars as the week goes on. The on-going conjunction between Jupiter and Pluto is amped up several notches by adding the Sun, Mercury, and Mars to the Mix. Jupiter is expansion, and Pluto is intensity. This configuration can promote strong business activity and breakthroughs. The Sun receives influences encouraging strongly positive energetic growth. Mercury can expand its mental energies significantly, especially in business dealings. Now’s the time to push on dormant business projects, especially if they have appeal to mass audiences. The major risk is in obsessive behavior, in power struggles, and in argument. Maintain your perspective and avoid conflict.

Venus squares Neptune beginning on the 18th; this lasts the entire week. Venus and Neptune are the opposite of the powerful, externally-directed powerhouse we just discussed. This configuration wants romantic magic and inner inspiration. With these two configurations pulling us in opposite directions, we need just a bit of caution. The risk with Venus and Neptune this time of year is in illusion and attraction to false emotional states. The holidays, with their potent emotional charge, are an excellent setting for mistaken emotional energies to take hold. If possible, use this time for your inner contemplation and growth. It’s a superb time for inner work. I especially recommend that around Yule to honor the birth of the new Solar Year. Avoid extravagant emotional scenes.

The week’s net: It’s a powerhouse time for external work, especially in business dealings. Set your sights high. On the emotional plane, though, it’s a bit trickier because of the potential for getting stuck on emotional illusions and in emotional miscommunication. Spend some time in inner work.

On the 16th we start the week with the New Moon conjoining Uranus. This is an emotional roller coaster: exciting, but also prone to nervous tension and strain. Relax just a bit if you can, and explore something new with someone close to you. Uranus loves novelty!

17 Dec:  The Moon squares the Sun, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Pluto today. This is an excellent time for business negotiations. Avoid excessive consumption, but push hard in work settings. There’s a tremendous amount of energy to harness today. There’s a risk for argument and conflict, so stay on balance and avoid pushing others too hard.

18 Dec: The Moon moves away from significant aspects today, so take a bit of a breather from the holiday push.

19 Dec: The Moon is trines the Sun, Mercury, Mars, Pluto, Jupiter configuration. This is highly supportive of good social experiences, communication with others, and relaxation. Take some time with those close to you, and love the season!

20 Dec: The Moon trines Saturn today and opposes Venus. This is excellent emotional support for close relationships: stabilizing feelings and encouraging connection with others.

21 Dec:  It’s Yule, and the massive configuration with the Sun is in high gear. The Moon is quiet today - and a  good thing, too. Take some time to celebrate the birth of the New Year as the Winter Solstice greets us.

22 Dec: The Moon closes the week squaring both Uranus and Saturn. This is a potential downer. Saturn wants to define feelings and relationships, and can lead to depression if expectations aren’t met. Uranus wants emotional excitement and change, and can foster nervous tension and uncomfortable emotional settings. With the push of the holidays all these forces may hit us, so keep your perspective and remember that this shifts tomorrow.

CosmicExpress, week of 23 December

Posted on Dec 22nd, 2007 by Tom Sidebottom : Concrescence Enabler Tom Sidebottom
We’re looking at the week beginning 23 December 2007. The Moon is Full on the 23rd. It’s forming an extremely powerful configuration we’ll discuss below. Keep up your efforts until that time; then evaluate where you are and begin to harvest what you’ve earned over the past two weeks.

Theme transits this week: The Sun and Mercury are still involved in the powerful conjunction to Jupiter and Pluto and an opposition to Mars. As the week goes on Saturn begins to trine the Sun, Jupiter, and Pluto. This is very positive for business dealings and planning because Saturn adds stability, strategic planning, and clear-headedness to the mix.

Venus continues to square Neptune until just after Christmas.

On the 23rd we start the week approaching the Full Moon with the Moon conjoining Mars and opposing the Sun, Mercury, Jupiter, and Pluto. This is an incredibly powerful moment, filled with breakthrough energy and dynamism. It may create emotional strain, especially if holiday issues arise. The potential in business and in life planning, though, is marvelous. If you can, take time to do a year-end inventory of what’s happened during 2007, and put together your dreams for 2008.

24 Dec:  The Moon is leaving yesterday’s intense configuration, but we’ll still feel it. Avoid excessive consumption. There’s a tremendous amount of energy to harness today. There’s a risk for argument and conflict, so stay on balance and avoid pushing others too hard - especially important with the holiday stresses.

25 Dec: The Moon moves away from the past two day’s significant aspects, and forms an easy trine to Venus. Relax with someone close to you, and enjoy the quiet time.

26 Dec: The Moon is quiet today, so take a breather!

27 Dec
: The Moon opposes Neptune and squares Venus today. Normally Moon and Venus create harmonious relationships and emotional warmth. The addition of Neptune introduces the tendency to prefer illusions and fantasy to reality - which can strain real relationships. Watch for communications issues.

28 Dec:  The Moon conjoins Saturn today and trines the Sun, Jupiter, and Pluto. Normally the Moon and Saturn combine to produce a depressive tone, but this aspect is powerful and beneficial. Look at your emotional involvements and get clear about how you’d like to be living a year from now. This whole week is profoundly beneficial for planning, and today’s a great time to look at relationships in a constructive way.

29 Dec: The Moon closes opposing Uranus. Uranus wants emotional excitement and change, and can foster nervous tension and uncomfortable emotional settings. With the push of the holidays all these forces may hit us, so keep your perspective and remember that this shifts tomorrow.

CosmicExpress, week of 30 December 2007

Posted on Dec 30th, 2007 by Tom Sidebottom : Concrescence Enabler Tom Sidebottom
We’re looking at the week beginning 30 December 2007. The Moon forms the Third Quarter on the 31st. Continue to harvest your work for this lunar cycle until that point. After the 31st, shift your focus to release those things you no longer need in preparation for the next lunar cycle.

Theme transits this week
: The Sun and Mercury finally move away from the powerful conjunction to Jupiter and Pluto and an opposition to Mars. The Jupiter / Mars / Pluto configuration, however, continues all week. Jupiter is expansion, and Pluto is intensity. This configuration can promote strong business activity and breakthroughs. Now’s the time to push on dormant business projects, especially if they have appeal to mass audiences. The major risk is in obsessive behavior, in power struggles, and in argument. Maintain your perspective and avoid conflict. Saturn continues to trine Jupiter and Pluto. This is very positive for business dealings and planning because Saturn adds stability, strategic planning, and clear-headedness to the mix.

Venus moves to square Saturn by mid-week. This is the hard-headed reality after all the holiday times. It’s time to assay relationships to learn what’s important to you and to your partner. Don’t put too much stress on partners because relationships may splinter under the strain. Depression may set in; use the time constructively to support relationship growth by moving for deep understanding.

The week’s net: It continues to be a great time for external work, especially in business dealings. Set your sights high. The emotional confusion of the past few weeks lifts, which should clarify dealings with others. Beware the tendency to depression around relationships and focus on understanding your partner.

On the 30th we start the week approaching the Third Quarter with the Moon forming a T-Square with Mars, Jupiter, and Pluto.

31 Dec:  The Moon moves to form the Third Quarter today. Shift your attention to release those things you no longer need for the upcoming lunar cycle, and prepare to launch into the New Year with a lighter load.

1 Jan: The Moon moves to trine Mars, sextile Jupiter and Pluto, and trine Neptune. This is very positive for emotional contact with friends and family, and it creates a great atmosphere for inner work. Spend some time focusing on your goals for 2008, and prepare to implement them as the year unfolds.7

2 Jan: The Moon sextiles the Sun, Mercury, and Saturn today. Emotional contacts continue in a very positive pattern, and there is the feeling of increased emotional stability and surety. The Venus / Saturn square engages and lasts into next week.

3 Jan
: The Moon squares Neptune today, which introduces the tendency to prefer illusions and fantasy to reality - which can strain real relationships. Watch for communications issues. The sextile to Mercury should help ameliorate communications difficulties.

4 Jan:  The Moon conjoins Venus and squares Saturn today. Normally the Moon and Venus are emotionally supportive, but the square to Saturn may produce a depressive tone. Look at your emotional involvements and get clear about how you’d like to be living a year from now. This whole week is profoundly beneficial for planning, and today’s a great time to look at relationships in a constructive way.

5 Jan: The Moon closes the week squaring Uranus, and we’ll still feel the square to Saturn. Uranus wants emotional excitement and change, and can foster nervous tension and uncomfortable emotional settings. Saturn wants definition, stability, and conservatism in dealings with others. Prepare for this push-pull, and keep your perspective this weekend.
