CosmicExpress, week of 4 February

Posted on Feb 3rd, 2007 by Tom Sidebottom : Concrescence Enabler Tom Sidebottom
We’re looking at the week beginning 4 February 2007. We start the week with the Moon just after Full and approaching the Third Quarter on Feb 10. You should be into full harvest of the work you’ve put in motion at the beginning of this lunar cycle. After the Third Quarter, begin to release what you no longer need to take into the next lunar cycle.

Theme transits this week: Jupiter continues to square Uranus all week. Jupiter continues to expand the cosmic roller-coaster, and provides the spark to expand into the new. Venus conjoins Uranus early in the week, and Mercury joins late in the week. On top of all that action, Mars provides supporting sextiles to Uranus, Venus, and Mercury.

Venus / Uranus is exciting, artistic, and unpredictable in relationship. Mercury / Uranus is genius, insight, and nervous energy. Early in the week put your emphasis on expanding your aesthetic world: seek out new art, music. New relationships can appear suddenly - or you might just find a totally different way to view your current partner. The key is open to the novelty without throwing away what’s valuable about what you currently have.

With Mercury, the challenge is to avoid too much mental stimulation. It’s important to focus in and get projects moving. Under this contact you can break through barriers that have been holding you back - or you might just find a totally different way to understand your work and your world. Make sure you give yourself enough time for centering and stability - Uranus wants to pull you in too many different directions.

Saturn continues to opposes Neptune for the next several weeks. The Sun continues to conjoin Neptune and oppose Saturn all week. Saturn is cosmic structure, while Neptune is the cosmic solvent. Combined we’re trying to dissolve the very structure that we’re trying to build. Work to maintain health by positive nutrition, exercise, and meditation. Avoid alcohol and mood-altering drugs, and remember that medication may not work the way you expect. I think this is purification time - and it may echo into politics and business, too.

Sun / Neptune is attempting to merge with the divine. Mystics should be fine, but the rest of us who live in the real world can have problems trying to stay grounded. Saturn opposed Sun is physically challenging - the real question is How are you justifying taking up space on the planet? Keep your perspective. Doing health-supporting things is key: excellent diet, rest, exercise.

On the 4th the Moon forms a T-Square by opposing Uranus and Venus, and squaring Jupiter. Emotions open up and the cosmic roller coaster gives us a ride. Aside from a little nervous tension, this can be an excellent time to reconnect with family and friends. The potential for accident is always present with Uranus aspects, so stay safe. But Mars provides supporting sextile sand trines, so I expect this to be a pretty good - and productive - time.

5 Feb:  The Moon squares Pluto today. Emotions shift to a more controlling, obsessive tone. Relax a bit; don’t put folks under your thumb - and keep away from power plays that others may want to run on you.

6 Feb:  The Moon’s fairly neutral today. Take a breather!

7 Feb: The Moon squares Mars today, and receives supporting trines and sextiles from Sun, Saturn, and Neptune. Emotional energy rides high, but without the controlling attempts we felt yesterday. This could be an excellent time for inner work and spiritual development.

8 Feb: The Moon takes a breather today with only an easy sextile to Pluto going on. Relax and see if emotions can warm up a bit with those you love.

9 Feb: The Moon trines the Mercury, Venus, and Uranus conjunction and sextiles Mars. This is the high point of the week energy-wise - followed by more intense stress tomorrow. Take just a bit of time  to relax and explore new ways to relate those you love - art, music, and relationship are all accentuated positively right now.

10 Feb:  It’s the Third Quarter  The Moon forms a T-Square with Saturn and Neptune, as well. Moon / Neptune wants emotional contact with the divine, while Saturn asks the Moon to define its emotions. Expect a fair amount of communication confusion. This is a physically challenging aspect, so take special care to support your body with diet, gentle exercise, and plenty of rest.

CosmicExpress, week of 11 February

Posted on Feb 11th, 2007 by Tom Sidebottom : Concrescence Enabler Tom Sidebottom
We’re looking at the week beginning 11 February 2007. We start the week with the Moon just after the Third Quarter and approaching the New Moon on Feb 17. It’s important to release what you no longer need to take into the next lunar cycle. This is very important on Feb 16, which has a number of challenging aspects.

Theme transits this week: Jupiter continues to square Uranus all week. Jupiter continues to expand the cosmic roller-coaster, and provides the spark to expand into the new. Mercury continues to conjoin Uranus throughout the week. On top of all that action, Mars provides supporting sextiles to Uranus and Mercury.

Mercury / Uranus is genius, insight, and nervous energy. The challenge is to avoid too much mental stimulation.

Fortunately the Sun moves away from its conjunction to Neptune and opposition to Saturn. Jupiter provides supporting sextiles and trines, which should even out this difficult influence.

On the 11th the Moon conjoins Jupiter and squares Uranus and Mercury.

12 Feb:  The Moon still has a bit of energy left with Jupiter and Uranus today, and it moves on to conjoin Pluto. As the day goes on, emotions shift to a more controlling, obsessive tone. Relax a bit; don’t put folks under your thumb - and keep away from power plays that others may want to run on you.

13 Feb:  The Moon begins to separate from Pluto today. We’ll still feel a bit of the emotional obsessions as the day begins, but things should smooth out as the day goes on. Relax just a  bit!

14 Feb: The Moon conjoins Mars today, and receives supporting sextiles from Mercury and Uranus. Emotional energy rides high, but without the controlling attempts we felt yesterday. This could be an excellent time for intellectual work and communications.

15 Feb: The Moon takes a breather today. Relax a bit and prepare for the upcoming conjunction with Neptune tomorrow and on the 17th.

16 Feb: The Moon is approaching New tomorrow, but today it conjoins Neptune and opposes Saturn - two challenging placements. Moon / Neptune wants emotional contact with the divine, while Saturn asks the Moon to define its emotions. Expect a fair amount of communication confusion. This is a physically challenging aspect, so take special care to support your body with diet, gentle exercise, and plenty of rest. Fortunately we have supporting sextiles and trines from Jupiter. Moon/Jupiter opens us to spiritual growth and to a more expansive emotional tone - just what we need with Saturn hanging around. With this being the last day of this lunar cycle, use today as an opportunity to release everything that you no longer need.

17 Feb: It’s the New Moon in Aquarius today. The Moon moves past the tough Saturn and Neptune energies of yesterday. It’s time to release everything from the previous lunar cycle and to launch into your new work for this new cycle.
