CosmicExpress, week of 8 April

Posted on Apr 8th, 2007 by Tom Sidebottom : Concrescence Enabler Tom Sidebottom
We’re looking at the week beginning 8 April 2007. The Third Quarter begins on 10 April. It’s time to harvest your good work. After the 10th, it’s important to release those things that are no longer important for the next lunar cycle.

Theme transits this week: It’s a week of some very potent, long-lasting configurations. Jupiter continues to square Uranus all week. Jupiter continues to expand the cosmic roller-coaster, and provides the spark to expand into the new.

Mercury squares Pluto all week. This is intense, investigatory thought and a tendency to argument. There’s a drive to win in interactions with people that may cause conflict. Always keep your perspective in conversation this week.

Saturn continues to opposes Neptune for the next several weeks. But this week we pick up a long-lasting Kite. There’s a Grand Trine in Fire between the Sun, Jupiter, and Saturn. Sun and Jupiter both sextile Neptune. Saturn is cosmic structure, while Neptune is the cosmic solvent. Combined we’re trying to dissolve the very structure that we’re trying to build. Work to maintain health by positive nutrition, exercise, and meditation. Avoid alcohol and mood-altering drugs, and remember that medication may not work the way you expect. I think this is purification time - and it may echo into politics and business, too. But the Kite exerts a powerfully positive influence. Sun/Jupiter/Saturn is the successful development of a philosophy of life that is truly supportive of life and spirit. The Sun/Neptune and Jupiter/Neptune aspects put the accent squarely on the spiritual.

This is the time to develop your plans to take you forward. I’d take a bit of time this week to formulate your real life goals. Get them squarely focused: image them within if you can. The positive energy of Saturn/Neptune can then use spirit to transform reality.

On the 8th we start the week as the Moon conjoins Jupiter and Pluto and enters the Grand Trine. Do your internal planning work today. Moon/Pluto can be obsessive in emotional matters, so keep your perspective and avoid power plays, especially in your close relationships.

9 Apr:  The Moon sextiles Mars today, giving added warmth to emotional feeling.

10 Apr:  The Moon forms the Third Quarter today. Move to release those things you no longer need, and prepare for the next lunar cycle in about a week.

11 Apr: The Moon trines Venus and sextiles Mercury today. Another excellent time for relating to those you love. Communication channels are open: use them!

12 Apr: Here’s the high energy point for the week. The Moon conjoins Neptune and enters into the Kite. If you didn’t do your planning work on the 8th, do it today. Better still, spend time doing creative visualization of your next steps in life. Formulate your plans and put the energy into realizing a powerful, internal, emotional image of it.

13 Apr:  After yesterday the  Moon moves to conjoin Mars. Emotional energy may be high - enjoy time with those you love.

14 Apr: We end the week with the Moon conjoining Uranus and squaring Jupiter. This is again excellent for communication with those you love - and gives you the possibility for some unique experiences and feelings. Experiment a bit! The only risk is the potential for misunderstanding or argument - and possibly excessive nervous tension.

CosmicExpress, week of 15 April

Posted on Apr 15th, 2007 by Tom Sidebottom : Concrescence Enabler Tom Sidebottom
We’re looking at the week beginning 15 April 2007. The New Moon is on the morning of the 17th. Until then, focus on releasing things you no longer need, and on developing your seed ideas for the next lunar cycle. After the 17th, jump into those new plans to take advantage of the increasing lunar energy.

Theme transits this week: It’s a week of some very potent, long-lasting configurations. Jupiter continues to square Uranus all week. Jupiter continues to expand the cosmic roller-coaster, and provides the spark to expand into the new.

Venus squares Mars all week: always an aspect to increase the spark of life. Energy flows naturally into relationship and into sexual drive. Keep your wits about you; enjoy the sensual peaks and valleys, and avoid power plays in sexual situations.

Saturn continues to opposes Neptune for the next several weeks. We benefitted from the Kite last week, and we’ll pick up another one toward the end of the week: there’s a Grand Trine in Fire between Mercury, Jupiter, and Saturn. Mercury and Jupiter both sextile Neptune. Mercury/Jupiter/Saturn is the successful development of insights about life and work, an understanding of life that is truly supportive of life and spirit. The Mercury/Neptune and Jupiter/Neptune aspects put the accent squarely on the spiritual.

We have another chance this week to develop your plans to take you forward. I’d take a bit of time this week to formulate your real life goals. Get them squarely focused: image them within if you can. The positive energy of Saturn/Neptune can then use spirit to transform reality.

On the 15th we start the week as the Moon squares Jupiter and Pluto. Moon/Pluto can be obsessive in emotional matters, so keep your perspective and avoid power plays, especially in your close relationships.

16 Apr:  The Moon approaches the New Moon, and forms a Grand Trine in Fire with Jupiter and Saturn. This opens the possibility for emotional understanding about the deeper nature of life; take a few moments for meditation today.

17 Apr:  The Moon is New Today. It and the Sun trine Pluto, which increases overall energy and intensifies emotions.

18 Apr: The Moon forms a T-Square with Saturn and Neptune today. This is probably the peak tension day for the week. Moon/Saturn wants to define emotion, while Moon/Neptune resists the push for stability. Confusion and poor communications can result. Keep your perspective.

19 Apr: The Moon conjoins Venus today, square Mars. This accentuates the emotional and sexual energy that’s been percolating all week. Have some fun; just don’t get into power plays where sex and relationship are concerned.

20 Apr:  Mercury finally moves into the Grand Trine in Fire that I noted at the beginning of this post. This is the time for inner work that focuses on your directions and goals. Go inside, spend some time quietly, and come back with the seeds that you’ll plant to create your next life step.

21 Apr: We end the week continuing the Kite that I discussed above. The Moon moves to oppose Pluto and to sextile the Sun. This can warm emotional situations - with the risk of obsession and control issues coming to the fore. The Sun gives us a way out, so spend some time with your partner, family, or friends and explore some of the deeper meaning that you derive from those relationships.

CosmicExpress, week of 22 April

Posted on Apr 21st, 2007 by Tom Sidebottom : Concrescence Enabler Tom Sidebottom
We’re looking at the week beginning 22 April 2007. The Moon forms the First Quarter on the 24th. You should now be in full swing to achieve those goals you’ve set for this lunar cycle. At the First Quarter spend some time evaluating your progress and make any needed mid-course corrections.

Theme transits this week: It’s a week of some very potent, long-lasting configurations. Jupiter continues to square Uranus all week. Jupiter continues to expand the cosmic roller-coaster, and provides the spark to expand into the new.

Saturn continues to opposes Neptune for the next several weeks. We benefitted from the Kite last week, and it continues through the first part of the week. There’s a Grand Trine in Fire between Mercury, Jupiter, and Saturn. Mercury and Jupiter both sextile Neptune. Mercury/Jupiter/Saturn is the successful development of insights about life and work, an understanding of life that is truly supportive of life and spirit. The Mercury/Neptune and Jupiter/Neptune aspects put the accent squarely on the spiritual.

Toward the week’s end we pick up a Mystic Rectangle with a Venus / Jupiter opposition making sextiles and trines to the Saturn / Neptune opposition. This is truly a mystical configuration, putting the accent clearly on Venus / Jupiter - deep love - which can open to the divine. To take advantage of this aspect, set aside time for inner work and contemplation. Prepare your vision for your future path, and start taking symbolic steps to achieve that.

Additionally, we form a Venus / Jupiter / Mars / Uranus T-Square by mid-week that lasts through the week’s end. This is a potent configuration for artistic realization and relationship exploration - especially sexual relationships. The major risk in relationship is in inappropriate behavior - taking too many risks. Artistically it’s time to step out and take a chance at a major breakthrough. If you’re not an artist, explore the arts and music this week. Find something that expands your heart and soul.

We have another chance this week to develop your plans to take you forward. I’d take a bit of time this week to formulate your real life goals. Get them squarely focused: image them within if you can. The positive energy of Saturn/Neptune can then use spirit to transform reality.

On the 22nd we start the week as the Moon trines Mars, warming emotional relationships.

23 Apr:  The Moon squares Mercury today. The accent is on communication. Make sure it stays centered and doesn’t degenerate to emotional confrontations with other. Don’t neglect the Kite’s power: it’s prime time for inner work and for envisioning the future.

24 Apr:  The Moon forms the First Quarter today. Make a careful evaluation of your progress toward your goals for this lunar cycle. With its sextile to Venus, the Moon should open us to warm emotional exchanges.

25 Apr: The Moon conjoins Saturn today, putting the accent strongly on the Kite. Emotions can be conflicted because of the push/pull between Saturn and Neptune. It’s very important to focus today on the Kite and on the potential to envision a path into a very different future. Take time for inner work and contemplation. Draw a map of your future and let universal forces help you realize that template.

26 Apr: The Mystic Rectangle with Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, and Neptune begins today and lasts the rest of the week. Refer to the opening comments about this configuration - and take advantage of its ability to open your mind and heart to a different way of approaching your life.

27 Apr:  The Moon moves to create a Grand Square with Venus, Jupiter, Mars, and Uranus. This can be a real pot-boiler emotionally. Keep your perspective in dealing with others today, because we’re all a bit too tightly wound. If we approach it properly, we can make real breakthroughs emotionally with this configuration. Just don’t push too hard.

28 Apr: We end the week with the Moon square Pluto. This moves the emotional accent to power games and to wanting control. Keep your perspective again today, especially considering yesterday’s mammoth configuration that created emotional stress for all of us. Keeping to the promise of the Mystic Rectangle, put the emphasis on inner work, on deep discussions with loved ones, and on your real goal - to uncover your next direction in life.

CosmicExpress, week of 29 April

Posted on Apr 29th, 2007 by Tom Sidebottom : Concrescence Enabler Tom Sidebottom
We’re looking at the week beginning 29 April 2007. The Moon is Full on the 2nd of May. Push on your work to achieve your goals for this lunar cycle until then. After the Moon is Full, begin to harvest the result of your hard work.

Theme transits this week: The potent, long-lasting configurations continue this week.

We continue last week’s Mystic Rectangle with a Venus / Jupiter opposition making sextiles and trines to the continuing Saturn / Neptune opposition. This is truly a mystical configuration, putting the accent clearly on Venus / Jupiter - deep love - which can open to the divine. To take advantage of this aspect, set aside time for inner work and contemplation. Prepare your vision for your future path, and start taking symbolic steps to achieve that. Take advantage of this configuration during the first part of the week.

The Venus / Jupiter / Mars / Uranus T-Square continues all week. This powerful configuration focuses on artistic realization and relationship exploration. The major risk in relationship is in inappropriate behavior - taking too many risks. Artistically it’s time to step out and take a chance at a major breakthrough. If you’re not an artist, explore the arts and music this week. Find something that expands your heart and soul.

As the week progresses we also pick up a Sun Mercury / Saturn /Neptune T-Square. This is a very difficult configuration that questions physical and mental stamina. Sun and Mercury with Saturn wants us to define and to test our goals, our thinking, and our physical body. Sun and Mercury with Neptune, on the other hand, blurs our goals, clouds and inspires our thinking, and slows down our physical metabolism. The combination is always tough, because we need to address both Saturn and Neptune - antithetical energies at best.

Fortunately the two T-Squares are sextile and trine each other, providing real support. This is a profoundly powerful configuration. We have the potential to push beyond our current limitations - if we’re willing to take the risk and to really live. The Saturn / Neptune influence is the difficult one, because we can feel mired in structure and unwilling to move beyond our interior world. The Mars / Uranus involvement in the other T-Square is essential to push us beyond our comfort zone to a new definition for our selves and our work.

Continue to take time this week to formulate your real life goals. Get them squarely focused: image them within if you can. The positive energy of Saturn/Neptune can then use spirit to transform reality.

On the 29th we start the week with the Moon making few aspects: a quiet day.

30 Apr: The Moon forms a Grand Trine with Venus and Neptune and sextiles Jupiter and Saturn today. This is excellent support for emotional relationships and for inner visionary work. Take a bit of time to capture a vision for yourself in a few months, in a year, in five years. Remember these images as the week continues. We’ll have a chance to begin to make them real.

1 May: The Moon sextiles Pluto today, giving subtle emotional energy and drive. These effects may not be clearly seen.

2 May: The Moon is Full today and forms a Grand Square with the Sun, Mercury, Saturn, and Neptune. This is the most difficult configuration this week: it puts real emotional stress and uncertainty into work and personal relationships. Keep your perspective; this will pass by tomorrow.

3 May: The Moon moves out of the T-Square - with some residual energy from Neptune. Emotional relationships may remain unclear and confused. Don’t expect great clarity from your partners and co-workers, and stay balanced.

4 May: The Moon moves to create a Grand Square with Venus, Jupiter, Mars, and Uranus. This can be a real pot-boiler emotionally. Keep your perspective in dealing with others today, because we’re all a bit too tightly wound. If we approach it properly, we can make real breakthroughs emotionally with this configuration. Just don’t push too hard.

5 May: The two T-Squares I mentioned at the beginning of the analysis are now in full swing. The Moon conjoins both Jupiter and Pluto as part of the T-Square with Venus, Mars, and Uranus. Control issues may present problems in relationships, but the overall possibilities of this T-Square are fantastic. It’s critical to avoid exerting undue control over others and to avoid emotional conflicts. If we walk the balance correctly though, we can begin to transform emotionally and professionally. Keep the emphasis on your real goal: realizing those images you brought to mind at the week’s beginning.
