We’re looking at the week beginning 29 April 2007. The Moon is Full on the 2nd of May. Push on your work to achieve your goals for this lunar cycle until then. After the Moon is Full, begin to harvest the result of your hard work.
Theme transits this week: The potent, long-lasting configurations continue this week.
We continue last week’s Mystic Rectangle with a Venus / Jupiter opposition making sextiles and trines to the continuing Saturn / Neptune opposition. This is truly a mystical configuration, putting the accent clearly on Venus / Jupiter - deep love - which can open to the divine. To take advantage of this aspect, set aside time for inner work and contemplation. Prepare your vision for your future path, and start taking symbolic steps to achieve that. Take advantage of this configuration during the first part of the week.
The Venus / Jupiter / Mars / Uranus T-Square continues all week. This powerful configuration focuses on artistic realization and relationship exploration. The major risk in relationship is in inappropriate behavior - taking too many risks. Artistically it’s time to step out and take a chance at a major breakthrough. If you’re not an artist, explore the arts and music this week. Find something that expands your heart and soul.
As the week progresses we also pick up a Sun Mercury / Saturn /Neptune T-Square. This is a very difficult configuration that questions physical and mental stamina. Sun and Mercury with Saturn wants us to define and to test our goals, our thinking, and our physical body. Sun and Mercury with Neptune, on the other hand, blurs our goals, clouds and inspires our thinking, and slows down our physical metabolism. The combination is always tough, because we need to address both Saturn and Neptune - antithetical energies at best.
Fortunately the two T-Squares are sextile and trine each other, providing real support. This is a profoundly powerful configuration. We have the potential to push beyond our current limitations - if we’re willing to take the risk and to really live. The Saturn / Neptune influence is the difficult one, because we can feel mired in structure and unwilling to move beyond our interior world. The Mars / Uranus involvement in the other T-Square is essential to push us beyond our comfort zone to a new definition for our selves and our work.
Continue to take time this week to formulate your real life goals. Get them squarely focused: image them within if you can. The positive energy of Saturn/Neptune can then use spirit to transform reality.
On the 29th we start the week with the Moon making few aspects: a quiet day.
30 Apr: The Moon forms a Grand Trine with Venus and Neptune and sextiles Jupiter and Saturn today. This is excellent support for emotional relationships and for inner visionary work. Take a bit of time to capture a vision for yourself in a few months, in a year, in five years. Remember these images as the week continues. We’ll have a chance to begin to make them real.
1 May: The Moon sextiles Pluto today, giving subtle emotional energy and drive. These effects may not be clearly seen.
2 May: The Moon is Full today and forms a Grand Square with the Sun, Mercury, Saturn, and Neptune. This is the most difficult configuration this week: it puts real emotional stress and uncertainty into work and personal relationships. Keep your perspective; this will pass by tomorrow.
3 May: The Moon moves out of the T-Square - with some residual energy from Neptune. Emotional relationships may remain unclear and confused. Don’t expect great clarity from your partners and co-workers, and stay balanced.
4 May: The Moon moves to create a Grand Square with Venus, Jupiter, Mars, and Uranus. This can be a real pot-boiler emotionally. Keep your perspective in dealing with others today, because we’re all a bit too tightly wound. If we approach it properly, we can make real breakthroughs emotionally with this configuration. Just don’t push too hard.
5 May: The two T-Squares I mentioned at the beginning of the analysis are now in full swing. The Moon conjoins both Jupiter and Pluto as part of the T-Square with Venus, Mars, and Uranus. Control issues may present problems in relationships, but the overall possibilities of this T-Square are fantastic. It’s critical to avoid exerting undue control over others and to avoid emotional conflicts. If we walk the balance correctly though, we can begin to transform emotionally and professionally. Keep the emphasis on your real goal: realizing those images you brought to mind at the week’s beginning.
