CosmicExpress, week of 6 May

Posted on May 5th, 2007 by Tom Sidebottom : Concrescence Enabler Tom Sidebottom
We’re looking at the week beginning 6 May 2007. The Moon’s Third Quarter is on the 10th. Right now your focus should be on harvesting the fruits of your labors over this lunar cycle. After the Third Quarter, switch your focus to begin to release things you no longer need in preparation for the next lunar cycle.

Theme transits this week: We continue to experience very potent, long-lasting configurations. Jupiter continues to square Uranus and Mars all week. Jupiter continues to expand the cosmic roller-coaster, and provides the spark to expand into the new.

Until the 8th Venus, Mars, and Pluto form a T-Square. This configuration is highly charged with sexual and control themes. It can be an exciting time in intimate relationships, but there is the strong potential for power plays, control issues, and obsessions. Keep your perspective and control impulsive behavior.

We retain the Sun Mercury / Saturn /Neptune T-Square we first experienced last week. This is a very difficult configuration that questions physical and mental stamina. Sun and Mercury with Saturn wants us to define and to test our goals, our thinking, and our physical body. Sun and Mercury with Neptune, on the other hand, blurs our goals, clouds and inspires our thinking, and slows down our physical metabolism. The combination is always tough, because we need to address both Saturn and Neptune - antithetical energies at best. The sextiles from Mars and Uranus to the Sun provide a needed injection of energy, optimism, and revolution - but expect challenges this week.

On the 6th we start the week as the Moon conjoins Pluto and joins the Venus / Mars / Pluto T-Square. Moon/Pluto can be obsessive in emotional matters, so keep your perspective and avoid power plays, especially in your close relationships. This is a sexually charged time - enjoy it safely.

7 May:  The Moon trines the Sun and Mercury today, providing some emotional support to the difficult T-Square we have this week. Take a bit of time off to enjoy with those close to you.

8 May:  The Moon continues to trine Mercury today, easing communication issues.

9 May: The Moon approaches the Third Quarter, and contacts our theme T-Square with the Sun, Saturn and Neptune today. This and tomorrow are probably the peak tension day for the week. Moon/Saturn wants to define emotion, while Moon/Neptune resists the push for stability. Confusion and poor communications can result. Keep your perspective.

10 May: The Moon continues yesterday’s issues with communication and unclarity. This begins to lift as the day goes on.

11 May:  The Moon squares Jupiter and approaches joining Uranus and Mars. Emotional energy rises and becomes more expansive - a welcome relief after the past two days. The only potential issue is nervous tension and a tendency to argument.

12 May: We end the week with the Moon continuing to conjoin Uranus and Mars, square Jupiter. Take advantage of the emotional energy and warmth; enjoy yourself.

CosmicExpress, week of 13 May

Posted on May 12th, 2007 by Tom Sidebottom : Concrescence Enabler Tom Sidebottom
We’re looking at the week beginning 13 May 2007. The Moon is New on the 16th of May. Continue to release things you no longer need and begin to plan for the next lunar cycle. After the New Moon, launch into your new work.

Theme transits this week: We retain the Sun Mercury / Saturn /Neptune T-Square we experienced last week. The sextiles from Uranus to the Sun provide some help with an injection of energy, optimism, and revolution - but expect challenges this week.

Mars squares Pluto all week, which helps offset the physical weakness and instability from the previous configuration. Physical energy and endurance rise, but so does the risk of conflict and power plays. Keep your perspective to make the best use of this contact, and prepare to work intensely.

Jupiter continues to square Uranus all week. Jupiter continues to expand the cosmic roller-coaster, and provides the spark to expand into the new. By the week’s end Mercury moves to form a T-Square with these two. It’s a great time to explore radical new thinking, new creative approaches, and new modes of communication. Speculation may be fruitful.

On the 13th we start the week with the Moon squaring Venus, giving emotional support to intimate relationships. Spend time with those you love - and watch out for over-indulgence.

14 May: The Moon forms a Grand Trine with Saturn and Jupiter, and completes a Kite with Neptune. This is the best possible contact to lift the difficult energy of the T-Square with the Sun, Saturn and Neptune. Probe emotionally to find a way. Rational analysis won’t work; it’s important to move intuitively and instinctively.

15 May: The Moon sextiles Venus and Uranus today: this provides emotional support in romantic relationships. Novelty is the key, so be playful.

16 May: The Moon is New today and joins the difficult Sun / Saturn / Neptune T-Square. This is the peak tension point for the week. It’s vital to maintain positive support for the body: diet, rest, and exercise. Keep your perspective to avoid a tendency to depression - and remember that everyone has this energy brewing.

17 May: The Moon moves out of the last T-Square only to join the newly forming Mercury / Jupiter / Uranus T-Square. This is a powerhouse, and it’s important to think radically. Emotions can get stressed today with too much nervous tension. If you keep your balance, though, you can make incredible advances by using your intuitive ability to direct your thinking. It’s a prime time to solve difficult problems that have been plaguing you.

18 May: The Moon moves on to another T-Square with Uranus and Pluto. Emotional tensions ride high, and there’s the chance for real power plays to crop up. The real opportunity today is from a Grand Rectangle (Moon / Pluto / Saturn / Neptune). It’s possible to miss the significance of this one because the energies are so refined. Take time to meditate and to look inward. Properly used, inspirations and visions can help lead you forward. Again, the heart must lead the head.

19 May: The Moon moves to conjoin Venus and square Mars with a trine to Uranus. Emotions warm in intimate relationships. Plan to spend time with those you love, and enjoy the warmth. Uranus accents the novel, the new, so break from your routine and enjoy a breath of fresh air.

CosmicExpress, week of 20 May

Posted on May 19th, 2007 by Tom Sidebottom : Concrescence Enabler Tom Sidebottom
We’re looking at the week beginning 20 May 2007. The Moon forms the First Quarter on the 23rd. It’s prime time to move on your new projects. Launch your new work and follow through a period of analysis that you’ll want to do around the 23rd.

Theme transits this week: We’re finally done with the difficult Sun / Saturn / Neptune aspects of the past two weeks. While Saturn continues to oppose Neptune, there’s less involvement with other planets to cause us trouble. Just keep in mind that Saturn wants structure while Neptune wants to eliminate it. The combination is always problematic: a push-pull between wanting stability and wanting freedom.

Jupiter continues to square Uranus and Mars all week with Mercury forming a T-Square until the week’s end. Jupiter continues to expand the cosmic roller-coaster, and provides the spark to expand into the new. It’s a great time to explore radical new thinking, new creative approaches, and new modes of communication. Speculation may be fruitful.

There’s a great opportunity in a Mystic Rectangle between Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, and Neptune. Meditation and inner work - inner visions for your new work and goals - is extraordinarily profitable. Spend some time alone and begin to follow your inner movements.

At week’s end Mercury opposes Pluto. This is fantastic for intense mental work and for powerful communication with others, but it poses the risk of verbal conflict and power struggles that manifest mostly in communications - not physical actions.

On the 20th we start the week with the Moon just past the conjunction with Venus, trining Uranus. Spend time with those you love - and explore something really new and exciting.

21 May: The Moon sextiles the Sun and trines Mars today: entirely positive energy after last week’s physically challenging aspects. This is warm, joyous energy to spend with those close to you - and on yourself. Physical exercise is very beneficial now.

22 May: The Moon conjoins Saturn, opposes Neptune, and enters the Mystic Rectangle. If you can, treat this as a retreat day. Go inward and explore your inner landscape. Let images arise and speak to you, and take away the vision you need for your next step.

23 May: The Moon forms the First Quarter today. It’s time to evaluate your progress on your efforts during this lunar cycle and make any needed adjustments in your approach.

24 May: The Moon forms a T-Square today with Jupiter and Uranus. Emotional energy rises, and if you handle it properly, it can be a time of high-spirited energy with those you love. The major risk is doing too much and feeling excessive emotional tension and unrest. Properly used, you can have a blast!

25 May: The Moon moves on to another T-Square with Mercury and Pluto. Emotional tensions ride high, and there’s the chance for real power plays to crop up. Keep your cool in communications, and avoid exerting undue pressure on others.

26 May: The Moon moves to oppose Mars and trine the Sun today. The biggest risk is argument and hurt feelings, but the upside is emotional warmth and physical closeness. Play your game well and have a great time!

CosmicExpress, week of 27 May

Posted on May 27th, 2007 by Tom Sidebottom : Concrescence Enabler Tom Sidebottom
We’re looking at the week beginning 27 May 2007. The Moon is Full on the 31st. Up to that point, push hard on your projects. After the Full Moon it’s time to begin to harvest the good work that you’ve been doing during this lunar cycle.

Theme transits this week: While Saturn continues to oppose Neptune, there’s less involvement with other planets to cause us trouble. Just keep in mind that Saturn wants structure while Neptune wants to eliminate it. The combination is always problematic: a push-pull between wanting stability and wanting freedom.

Jupiter continues to square Uranus all week. Jupiter continues to expand the cosmic roller-coaster, and provides the spark to expand into the new. It’s a great time to explore radical new thinking, new creative approaches, and new modes of communication. Speculation may be fruitful.

By the week’s end the Sun opposes Jupiter, marking a time of heightened, positive physical energy and expansion. This contact helps make up for the challenges we had several weeks ago with the Sun, Saturn, and Neptune. This is a time for physical growth and development, and can mark a time for positive leadership. Potential problems that may arise include acting in an arrogant way with others which precipitates negative backlashes. Keeping your perspective should keep you out of trouble.

Mercury opposes Pluto all week. This is fantastic for intense mental work and for powerful communication with others, but it poses the risk of verbal conflict and power struggles that manifest mostly in communications - not physical actions.

On the 27th we start the week with the Moon squaring Venus. Spend time with those you love, and avoid overindulgence. An unusual half Grand Sextile involves the Moon, Jupiter, Neptune, and Saturn. It’s beneficial to spend time in meditation and contemplation about the coming week.

28 May: The Moon trines Mercury and sextiles Pluto today: this is entirely positive energy directed in communication with those you love.

29 May: The Moon trines Uranus today, giving a small emotional spark. Explore the new and the unusual, especially in art.

30 May: The Moon forms a T-Square with Saturn and Neptune today. This is the challenge we’ve been experiencing twice a month for the last few months. This time, it’s different, because the Moon forms a Grand Trine in Water with Venus and Uranus as well. This Grand Trine pushes us to the new and the unusual, especially in artistic development and relationship. If you’re working creatively, it’s time to push into new paths - and involve your inner vision in this development. If you’re in a relationship, see if you can inject a bit of novelty into your time together.

31 May: The Moon is Full today, and forms a T-Square today with Jupiter and Uranus as well. Emotional energy rises, and if you handle it properly, it can be a time of high-spirited energy with those you love. The major risk is doing too much and feeling excessive emotional tension and unrest. Properly used, you can have a blast!

1 Jun: The Moon moves on to conjoin Pluto. Emotional tensions ride high, and there’s the chance for real power plays to crop up in emotional matters. Keep your cool, and avoid exerting undue pressure on others.

2 Jun: The Moon closes the week by separating from the conjunction to Pluto, so emotional matters should return to normal. Take some time to relax and to recuperate.
