CosmicExpress, week of 8 July

Posted on Jul 8th, 2007 by Tom Sidebottom : Concrescence Enabler Tom Sidebottom
We’re looking at the week beginning 8 July 2007. The Moon is New on the 14th. Until then, prepare to release things from the past month’s work that you no longer need to retain into the new cycle.

Theme transits this week: We have much the same situation as last week. Saturn continues to oppose Neptune, and Venus is now separating from its conjunction to Saturn and opposition to Neptune. Saturn wants structure while Neptune wants to eliminate it. The combination is always problematic: a push-pull between wanting stability and wanting freedom. Combined with Venus, Saturn asks us to define our love relationships - to examine them critically. Venus opposed Neptune, on the other hand, wants a dreamy, illusory love that’s mostly fantasy. Combining the two energies can create miscommunication and hurt feelings. Keep your perspective; this influence fades completely by week’s end.

The Sun trines Uranus all week, providing spice to physical work and spurring us to re-conceive our goals and aspirations. Do take care in physical work, though, because of a risk of accident.

Mercury goes direct on Monday, 9 July. This opens the way to improved communications and new work. Mercury continues to oppose Pluto until week’s end. This continues the push to intense intellectual activity and probing research. It can also cause problems in communications as power issues arise and color negotiations. Again, keep your perspective!

On the 8th we start the week with the Moon forming a Kite. The Grand Trine is between the Moon, Venus, Saturn, and Pluto, and Mercury opposes Pluto. This is an excellent time for probing thought. Take some time to go within. Pluto and Saturn provide the ability to access that deep and wise part of yourself. Questions about relationship and emotional matters are prime for solving.

9 Jul:  The Moon conjoins Mars today, which fires up real emotional energy. Avoid the potential for argument and conflict and enjoy the emotional warmth that this energy can afford us. A sextile to Uranus provides additional cosmic spice, so take some time with your partner and enjoy yourself.

10 Jul:  The Moon forms a T-Square with Neptune, Venus, and Saturn today. This is a too-familiar challenge from the past few months. It creates emotional uncertainty and conflict with the potential of depression. Meditation can be helpful. Avoid negotiating business dealings today because of the potential for miscommunication and ill-will.

11 Jul: The Moon moves to an opposition with Jupiter, which should remove the tensions and uncertainties we felt yesterday. It’s time to relax a bit and to expand into new emotional territory with those close to you.

12 Jul: The Moon opposes Pluto and conjoins Mercury today. Moon and Pluto together create obsessive emotional energy. It’s all to easy to become imbalanced, and with the Mercury contact, to say too much. It’s a great time for inner work, though, because those inner energies come close to the surface and we can understand our hidden motivations. Keep your perspective!

13 Jul:  The Moon moves to trine Uranus and sextile Mars, and prepares for the New Moon. It’s important to release things no longer of importance for you and to harvest everything of value from your work for the past month. Emotionally it’s a period of mood swings - but these can be fun rather than problematic. Avoid rash statements that may plunge you into needless argument.

14 Jul: The Moon closes the week with the New Moon. Begin to formulate your goals for the next lunar period, and get going on your work!

CosmicExpress, week of 22 July

Posted on Jul 21st, 2007 by Tom Sidebottom : Concrescence Enabler Tom Sidebottom
We’re looking at the week beginning 22 July 2007. The Moon is just past the First Quarter. Evaluate your progress so far this quarter and press forward with your work.

Theme transits this week: We have much the same situation as last week. Saturn continues to oppose Neptune, and Mars has now formed a T-Square with Saturn and Neptune. Saturn wants structure while Neptune wants to eliminate it. The combination is always problematic: a push-pull between wanting stability and wanting freedom. Combined with Mars, Saturn creates friction, holding us back when we want to move forward. Neptune confuses our actions and tends to demotivate us. This energy builds this week and continues during the following week. Keep your perspective and stay patient. Mars and Saturn frequently can create considerable tension and frustration. Mars/Neptune can often be physically troubling, so get some rest, eat healthful foods, and stay balanced.

On the 22nd we start the week with the Moon trining Mercury. This creates easy, open communication. Spend time with friends and family.

23 Jul:  The Moon completes a Grand Square with Mars, Saturn, and Neptune today, and this configuration continues into tomorrow. This is a too-familiar challenge from the past few months. It creates emotional uncertainty and conflict with the potential of depression.
Moon and Saturn can be emotionally a downer, while Mars and the Moon can create emotional conflicts, and Moon and Neptune can produce emotional uncertainty and miscommunication. Keep your perspective and stay balanced in your interactions today.

24 Jul:  The Moon squares Venus and Saturn today, but eases from yesterday’s powerful Grand Square. Moon and Venus are normally compatible, creating relationship harmony. Saturn injects the need to define, to clarify, and a tendency toward depressive attitudes. Open to contacts with friends and family, but maintain your poise and clarity.

25 Jul: The Moon conjoins Jupiter today, easing the difficult emotions of the past two days. Take a breather, meet friends, and enjoy this time.

26 Jul: The Moon conjoins Pluto and squares Uranus today, which creates obsessive emotional energy all while riding the cosmic roller coaster. It’s all to easy to become imbalanced. It’s a great time for inner work, though, because those inner energies come close to the surface and we can understand our hidden motivations.

27 Jul:  The Moon makes only a trine to Venus today, easing emotional tensions and giving us a bit of relaxation.

28 Jul: The Moon closes the week an opposition to Mercury and a trine to Mars: this is a great time to open to communication with family and friends, and maybe to plan just a bit of an adventure.

CosmicExpress, week of 29 July

Posted on Jul 29th, 2007 by Tom Sidebottom : Concrescence Enabler Tom Sidebottom
We’re looking at the week beginning 29 July 2007. The Moon is Full as the week begins. Begin to shift your focus from expanding your work to harvesting the efforts that you’ve been making.

Theme transits this week: We continue the same situation as last week. Fortunately this T-Square diminishes in strength as the week continues, and next week will be clear of this problematic pattern.

On the 29th we start the week with the Moon being Full. This can always be a stressful day, so make space for relaxation. Turn your attention to evaluate the work that you’ve done so far during this cycle, and begin to harvest your good work.

30 Jul:  The Moon begins to conjoin Neptune today and tomorrow, and to form a T-Square with Mars, Saturn, and Neptune.

31 Jul:  The Moon separates from yesterday’s T-Square, but an opposition to Venus continues today. Moon and Venus are normally compatible, creating relationship harmony. Saturn injects the need to define, to clarify, and a tendency toward depressive attitudes. Open to contacts with friends and family, but maintain your poise and clarity.

1 Aug: The Moon squares Jupiter and conjoins Uranus today. This should release us from the past two days challenges. Moon and Uranus can create variable feelings and unstable emotions, but Jupiter can make this time of change more fun and happy. Take a breather, meet friends, and enjoy this time.

2 Aug
: The Moon squares Pluto today, which creates obsessive emotional energy. It’s a great time for inner work, though, because those inner energies come close to the surface and we can understand our hidden motivations.

3 Aug:  The Moon completes a Grand Trine with the Sun and Jupiter today. This is a highly favorable time to restore the body, to open to new experiences, and to explore personal growth. Enjoy your work and spend some time recuperating from the emotional challenges earlier in the week.

4 Aug: The Moon closes the week with a Kite, uniting Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto in a powerful configuration. This is the best opportunity this week for inspiration and for inner investigation. Take time for inner work: meditation, writing, listening to your inner muses.
