We’re looking at the week beginning 5 August 2007. The Moon forms the Third Quarter as the week begins. Complete harvesting your work and prepare to release those things you no longer need before the New Moon.
Theme transits this week: Finally the Saturn / Neptune opposition that we’ve experienced for many months is dissipating. Saturn wants structure while Neptune wants to eliminate it. This push-pull between wanting stability and wanting freedom is ending this week. We can expect improved communication and clarity in dealing with others and in developing plans and goals.
The Sun begins to oppose Neptune by mid-week. We’ll still have some residual uncertainty and unclarity; it’s possible that issues that have been hidden and brewing for some time will come to the surface. Expect this influence to diminish by week’s end.
Mars continues to square the conjunction between Venus and Saturn all week. Expect continued issues with relationships for the next day or so. Venus / Saturn forces us to question relationships and to aim for increased clarity within them. Mars experiences frustration with Saturn, and this frustration carries over into relationship issues. Because Venus is retrograde, this is an unusual time in relationship. Consider withdrawing slightly, relaxing a bit, and finding your own internal flow.
On the 5th we start the week with the Moon forming the Third Quarter. This can always be a stressful day, so make space for relaxation. Complete harvesting your work for this lunar cycle and prepare to release those things that are no longer important to you before the New Moon.
6 Aug: The Moon conjoins Mars today and forms a T-Square with Mars, Saturn, and Neptune. This is a too-familiar challenge from the past few months. It creates emotional uncertainty and conflict with the potential of depression. Fortunately the Saturn / Neptune opposition is diminishing, so we can expect fewer of these upsets in the coming weeks.
Moon and Saturn can be emotionally a downer, while Mars and the Moon can create emotional conflicts, and Moon and Neptune can produce emotional uncertainty and miscommunication. Keep your perspective and stay balanced in your interactions today.
7 Aug: The Moon opposes Jupiter today and sextiles Mercury. This gives us a welcome respite from yesterday’s emotional issues, and opens the doors for improved communication and easier feelings.
8 Aug: The Moon opposes Pluto today, opening us to emotional control issues. Keep your perspective, and avoid your own head trips concerning others.
9 Aug: The Moon is quiet today, so take a breather and relax a bit.
10 Aug: The Moon trines Uranus today, giving just a little spice to our feelings. Take a bit of time and enjoy some unexpected fun.
11 Aug: The Moon closes the week sextile to Mars, warming us emotionally and giving us just a break. Take this time, because the following few days show the Moon entering into some confusing emotional waters.
