CosmicExpress, week of 5 August

Posted on Aug 4th, 2007 by Tom Sidebottom : Concrescence Enabler Tom Sidebottom
We’re looking at the week beginning 5 August 2007. The Moon forms the Third Quarter as the week begins. Complete harvesting your work and prepare to release those things you no longer need before the New Moon.

Theme transits this week: Finally the Saturn / Neptune opposition that we’ve experienced for many months is dissipating. Saturn wants structure while Neptune wants to eliminate it. This push-pull between wanting stability and wanting freedom is ending this week. We can expect improved communication and clarity in dealing with others and in developing plans and goals.

The Sun begins to oppose Neptune by mid-week. We’ll still have some residual uncertainty and unclarity; it’s possible that issues that have been hidden and brewing for some time will come to the surface. Expect this influence to diminish by week’s end.

Mars continues to square the conjunction between Venus and Saturn all week. Expect continued issues with relationships for the next day or so. Venus / Saturn forces us to question relationships and to aim for increased clarity within them. Mars experiences frustration with Saturn, and this frustration carries over into relationship issues. Because Venus is retrograde, this is an unusual time in relationship. Consider withdrawing slightly, relaxing a bit, and finding your own internal flow.

On the 5th we start the week with the Moon forming the Third Quarter. This can always be a stressful day, so make space for relaxation. Complete harvesting your work for this lunar cycle and prepare to release those things that are no longer important to you before the New Moon.

6 Aug:  The Moon conjoins Mars today and forms a T-Square with Mars, Saturn, and Neptune. This is a too-familiar challenge from the past few months. It creates emotional uncertainty and conflict with the potential of depression. Fortunately the Saturn / Neptune opposition is diminishing, so we can expect fewer of these upsets in the coming weeks.
Moon and Saturn can be emotionally a downer, while Mars and the Moon can create emotional conflicts, and Moon and Neptune can produce emotional uncertainty and miscommunication. Keep your perspective and stay balanced in your interactions today.

7 Aug:  The Moon opposes Jupiter today and sextiles Mercury. This gives us a welcome respite from yesterday’s emotional issues, and opens the doors for improved communication and easier feelings.

8 Aug: The Moon opposes Pluto today, opening us to emotional control issues. Keep your perspective, and avoid your own head trips concerning others.

9 Aug: The Moon is quiet today, so take a breather and relax a bit.

10 Aug:  The Moon trines Uranus today, giving just a little spice to our feelings. Take a bit of time and enjoy some unexpected fun.

11 Aug: The Moon closes the week sextile to Mars, warming us emotionally and giving us just a break. Take this time, because the following few days show the Moon entering into some confusing emotional waters.

CosmicExpress, week of 12 August

Posted on Aug 12th, 2007 by Tom Sidebottom : Concrescence Enabler Tom Sidebottom
We’re looking at the week beginning 12 August 2007. The Moon is New as the week begins. It’s time to launch into your new projects for this lunar cycle.

The Sun continues to oppose Neptune most of this week. What’s interesting is we start the week with Mercury conjunct the Sun, and both opposing Neptune. By week’s end Venus swaps in for Mercury. Sun and Neptune produce residual uncertainty and unclarity; it’s possible that issues that have been hidden and brewing for some time will come to the surface.

Mercury and Neptune are a real mixed bag. Inspiration may come our way, but delusions and unrealistic expectations may also come along for the ride. Venus and Neptune are great for artistic development and production: again, it’s inspiration. Relationships, though, may be plagued with bad communication and unrealistic expectations or projections. Because Venus is retrograde, this is an unusual time in relationship. Consider withdrawing slightly, relaxing a bit, and finding your own internal flow.

All of these planets are sextile and trine to Pluto as the week unfolds. This can be subtle, but there’s a substantial opportunity for real internal development if you pay attention to your intuition.

Mars opposes Jupiter early in the week and continues until week’s end. This physically strengthening configuration helps to remove the Sun/Neptune malaise. It’s an expansive time in work, so get your projects moving.

On the 12th we start the week with the New Moon. There are five planets in Leo at this New Moon, emphasizing the opening, dynamic nature of late summer. Neptune opposes the New Moon, which injects uncertainty and poor communication. It can be an inspiring time if you go within for meditative work, though.

13 Aug:  The Moon conjoins Saturn and Venus. The Moon and Venus are warm and supportive in relationship. The Saturn influence puts a brake on passion and injects a time of questioning the meaning of relationship. There is the potential for depression. Keep your perspective and stay balanced in your interactions today.

14 Aug:  The Moon forms a T-Square with Jupiter and Uranus today: totally different energy from yesterday’s downer. Jupiter and Uranus are favorable for speculation and unexpected opportunities. Take advantage of them - and open emotionally to those close to you after the past few days.

15 Aug: The Moon squares Pluto today, opening us to emotional control issues. Keep your perspective, and avoid your own head trips concerning others.

16 Aug: The Moon trines Mars and sextiles Jupiter today. This is another emotionally supportive configuration, so take a breather and enjoy those you love.

17 Aug:  The Moon sextiles the Sun, Venus, and Pluto and trines Neptune. Again, this configuration is emotionally supportive. New communications opportunities present themselves with emotional partners. Open to the deepening emotional tide.

18 Aug: The Moon closes the week continuing to sextile the Sun, Venus, and Pluto. This continues yesterday’s emotionally support, so take time with those you love and chart a new course of the heart.

CosmicExpress, week of 19 August

Posted on Aug 19th, 2007 by Tom Sidebottom : Concrescence Enabler Tom Sidebottom
We’re looking at the week beginning 19 August 2007. The Moon forms the First Quarter on the 20th. It’s time to press forward with new projects, and to take stock of your progress so far. Make needed mid-course corrections and keep moving.

Theme transits this week:

Venus continues to be retrograde all week, and it opposes Neptune. Venus retrograde is fairly rare, and it signals a time for moving inward with relationship matters. This isn’t a prime time to push into new territories in relationships. Venus and Neptune can create either an idealistic, rapturous feeling about relationship, or it can foster unrealistic impressions and expectations. It’s critical to monitor communications in relationships right now, and to avoid projecting fantasies onto partners. Fortunately we have supportive aspects from Pluto: looking inward with meditation and contemplation can reveal relationship blocks that we can dissolve.

Sun conjoins Saturn in Leo for most of the week. This is challenging physically and can be a downer mentally as well. But it doesn’t have to be bad. Saturn asks us to define ourselves and to take off the rose-colored glasses. It’s time to take careful stock of where we are physically and where we are with our life goals. Without the fantasy we can begin to make realistic plans. The upside is that Saturn brings incredible support if we’re working hard on our goals and making progress.

Mercury, Mars, Jupiter form a T-Square that starts mid-week and lasts through the week’s end. Mars and Jupiter represent physical growth and business success. Mercury and Jupiter create expansive thinking, while Mercury and Mars foster dynamic thought, communication, and possibly argument. The opportunity is to push hard in business work, especially work involving communication and media. As long as we watch out for the tendency for argument, the potential is very good.

The week’s net: Maintain excellent diet and rest to support yourself physically. Do a careful analysis on your goals and work, and take advantage of the favorable prospects in business and communication work this week to advance your goals. Watch out for miscommunication in relationship, and don’t let your fantasies about love drag you down.

On the 19th we start the week with the Moon trining Uranus. The cosmic roller coaster is fun, so hop on and enjoy the day.

20 Aug
:  The Moon forms the First Quarter today, and forms a T-Square with Sun, Venus, and Neptune. The First Quarter always asks us to make mid-course corrections on our goals for the  lunar cycle. Moon and Venus are normally great for flowing, easy relationships, but the Neptune side of things injects confusion and miscommunication. It’s critical to avoid projecting your fantasies and fears onto others. Keep really clear in communications in close relationships today.

21 Aug:  The Moon moves to form a T-Square with Mars, Jupiter, and Mercury today. Moon and Jupiter create a nurturing, warm emotional environment, while the Mars and Mercury connection warms the heart and promotes communication. The risk is argument or excessive behavior. So keep yourself grounded and enjoy the day with those your love.

22 Aug: The Moon squares Uranus and conjoins Pluto today. Moon / Uranus adds excitement and some nervous tension, while Pluto contributes the possibility of obsessive behavior. The upside is the trines to Venus and Saturn, which soften the   emotional issues and open the doors to warm relationships with others.

23 Aug: The Moon continues to conjoin Pluto today, which maintains that obsessive emotional energy we first felt yesterday. It’s all to easy to become imbalanced. It’s a great time for inner work, though, because those inner energies come close to the surface and we can understand our hidden motivations. Keep your perspective!

24 Aug:  The Moon trines Mercury today, which eases communication with others. Thinking can become wrapped up with emotional tides, though, so be careful in your mental work today to catch emotional biases you may introduce.

25 Aug: The Moon closes the week without making significant aspects. Enjoy the weekend, and relax a bit!

CosmicExpress, week of 26 August

Posted on Aug 25th, 2007 by Tom Sidebottom : Concrescence Enabler Tom Sidebottom
We’re looking at the week beginning 26 August 2007. The Moon is Full on the 28th, and there is a Lunar Eclipse. Until the 28th, press on with your projects. On the 28th, assess your progress so far, make corrections to your approach, and begin to harvest the results of your work.

Theme transits this week:

Venus continues to be retrograde all week, and just like last week it opposes Neptune.

The Sun begins the week conjoining Saturn in Leo. We start the week continuing the physical challenges of last week, but this diminishes by Wednesday. The Sun then moves to square Jupiter, and begins a square to Mars at week’s end. This combination completely reverses the Saturn inhibition by creating the environment for physical growth, health, development, and positive work.

The Mercury, Mars, and Jupiter T-Square continues at the beginning of the week, and we pick up a Mercury / Uranus opposition. Mars and Jupiter represent physical growth and business success. Mercury and Jupiter create expansive thinking, while Mercury and Mars foster dynamic thought, communication, and possibly argument. Mercury and Uranus is sudden, blinding insight, inspiration, and lightning-like thinking. It’s also excessive mental stress. The opportunity is to push hard in business work, especially work involving communication and media. As long as we watch out for the tendency for argument, the potential is very good. Do some blue-sky sessions to kick-start your mental processes and to open to new ideas. And work to balance your mental energy to keep from getting fried by too many things moving in too many directions.

The week’s net: Take advantage of the favorable prospects in business and communication work this week to advance your goals. There’s the potential for physical healing, growth, and progress, so take advantage by working with your body in positive ways. Watch out for miscommunication in relationship, and don’t let your fantasies about love drag you down.

On the 26th we start the week with the Moon trining Mars and sextiling Jupiter. The Moon will also conjoin Neptune later today and into tomorrow. Moon / Jupiter is positive emotion, and Moon / Mars is warm, supportive relationships. Spend your time with those you love. Moon and Neptune create an idealistic combination. It’s either great meditation or unclear communication and illusions in love. Stay balanced; don’t project too much of your fantasies on others; enjoy the day; and spend some time in inner reflection.

27 Aug:  The Moon separates from the conjunction with Neptune, and it opposes Venus today. Watch your communications in relationship. If you play things right, this can be an expansive time in relationship, with warm, easy, and flowing feelings. Just watch out for illusions, and deceptive communication.

28 Aug:  Today’s the Full Moon with a total lunar eclipse. The Moon picks up squares to Mars and to Jupiter, forming a Grand Cross. This is an extremely powerful configuration, and opens the potential for great advance in business, work, and physical development. At a mundane level, the eclipse path moves over the Pacific Ocean, so we may not see direct physical manifestations at particular locations from this configuration unless weather or seismic events manifest.

29 Aug
: The Moon conjoins Uranus, opposes Mercury, and squares Pluto today. Moon / Uranus adds excitement and some nervous tension, while Pluto contributes the possibility of obsessive behavior. The Mercury contact adds mental energy and tension to the mix. This is likely to be the peak tension day this week, but it also has the potential to provide the greatest inspiration and insight. Do some brainstorming if you can.

30 Aug: The Moon moves away from the peak activity and simply trines Jupiter today. Emotional energy smoothes out, and excessive tension should relax.

31 Aug:  The Moon forms a Grand Trine with Saturn and Pluto today. This is deep, positive emotional energy. Spend some time in inner work, and remember that support is coming to you even though you may not see it.

1 Sep: The Moon closes the week by trining the Sun. Enjoy the weekend, and relax a bit!
