CosmicExpress, week of 2 March

Posted on Mar 1st, 2008 by Tom Sidebottom : Concrescence Enabler Tom Sidebottom
We’re looking at the week beginning 2 March 2008. The Moon is New on the 7th. Up to that point, continue to release those things you no longer need for your work in the next lunar cycle.

Theme transits this week
: The Mars / Pluto configuration continues this week, which sustains a more intense, obsessive work style. You can make tremendous use of the intense energy, but take care not to ride roughshod over those around you. This contact can be tough on relationships, so keep your perspective. Avoid power plays and control issues. Fortunately Saturn trines Pluto and sextiles Mars, which serves to focus energy on useful work and concrete outcomes.

The Sun conjoins Uranus all week with increasing energy. This is a powerful, dynamic configuration that tends to inject tremendous novelty and inspiration - at the cost of creating considerable nervous tension. The temptation to multitask is tremendous, but it depletes energy. Plan some down-time throughout the week. Plan for exercise and relaxation breaks, and maintain excellent nutrition. A sextile from Jupiter can result in greatly beneficial moves in business.

Mercury, Venus, and Neptune are conjoined all week. Venus and Neptune opens us to powerful fantasy and dream work, while Mercury and Neptune can be inspiring at the cost of unclear thinking. Be cautious in business negotiations. Fantasies can be fun, but take care that they don’t lead you into behavior that you would later regret. This is a powerful contact for inner work, meditation, and guided imagery, so plan some time to grow within.

The week’s net: Intense work energy rises again this week. Take care not to become involved in power struggles, but use the energy to burn through issues that have been plaguing you. Open to inspiration in work, and for radical new ideas to change your worldview.

On the 2nd we start the week with the Moon conjoining Jupiter and sextiling the Sun and Uranus. This expands emotional contacts, and can be profoundly inspiring. Enjoy contact with those your love. Plan some time to experiment with new concepts and approaches.

3 Mar:  The Moon moves away from the sextile to the Sun and Uranus, but we should continue to feel support in business and planning.

4 Mar: The Moon is quiet today.

5 Mar
: The Moon conjoins Mercury, Venus, and Neptune today. This strongly accents the week-long conjunction between Mercury, Venus, and Neptune. Emotions are in full flower, and communication about emotional matters is strongly emphasized. It’s a great time for inner work, but perhaps not so good for business communication. Take care not to be misunderstood.

6 Mar: The Moon opposes Saturn today. Moon and Saturn always focus on the truth about emotions, and force us to acknowledge that fantasies are not completely true. Avoid depression with plenty of rest.

7 Mar:  The Moon is New today. It’s time to launch into a new cycle. Uranus accents the New very strongly. It’s time to be radically innovative, to listen to inner muses, and to open to new ideas. Take care not to become overwhelmed with nervous energy.

8 Mar: The Moon closes the week squaring Pluto and Mars. This is highly energetic and promotes emotional control issues. Stay aware of power plays and emotional control games that others may exert.

CosmicExpress, week of 9 March

Posted on Mar 8th, 2008 by Tom Sidebottom : Concrescence Enabler Tom Sidebottom
We’re looking at the week beginning 9 March 2008. The Moon forms the First Quarter on the 13th. Now’s the time to push forward to launch your work for this lunar cycle. Re-evaluate and adjust your strategy at the First Quarter.

Theme transits this week
: The Mars / Pluto configuration continues again this week, which sustains a more intense, obsessive work style.  By the week’s end we add a Mystic Rectangle: Saturn opposes Neptune, and the two massive oppositions sextile and trine each other. Mercury, Mars, Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto make a difficult pairing, but the Mystic Rectangle creates real opportunities for spiritual development and transformation. We’ve looked at the Mars / Pluto opposition before: You can make tremendous use of the intense energy, but take care not to ride roughshod over those around you. This contact can be tough on relationships, so keep your perspective. Avoid power plays and control issues.

Saturn and Neptune will oppose each other for most of the rest of this year. This is part of a cycle with major implications for the world economic system. Check out my e-book (http://www.cosmictiming.com/ebooks/2008,%20the%20Planets,%20and%20You.pdf)  for more information about how this will impact all of us.

Mercury conjoins Neptune this week, which emphasizes the importance of communication in resolving these power issues. Mercury and Neptune can create problems in communicating clearly. Be especially careful in business dealings to be clear and precise.

The Mystic Rectangle combines these major planets into a single whole. The challenge is to channel the unbelievable energy of Mars / Pluto to transform the Saturn / Neptune issues of dissatisfaction and disillusionment: the by-product of an excessively materialistic worldview.

The Sun continues to conjoin Uranus all week with increasing energy.

The week’s net: Prepare for a transformative week with continued intense energy and the return of the Saturn / Neptune issue of dealing with disillusionment that we’ll be experiencing for some time to come. Take care not to become involved in power struggles, but use the energy to burn through issues that have been plaguing you.

On the 9th we start the week with the Moon squaring Jupiter. This expands emotional contacts, and can be profoundly inspiring. Enjoy contact with those your love.

10 Mar:  The Moon forms an extremely important configuration today: a Kite involving Mars, Pluto, and Saturn with sextiles to Mercury and Neptune, This is highly auspicious. Today’s the day to do strategic planning, to push into projects with intensity, and to transform your working relationships. If possible spend some time considering your life goals. Reduce these ideas to clear steps that you can begin to address.

11 Mar: The Moon sextiles the Sun and Uranus, and trines Jupiter today. This is highly auspicious for business and for breakthroughs in ideas that you’ve been contemplating. Emotionally it can produce tension because it’s a high-energy time. Plan for some down-time to relax a bit.

12 Mar
: The Moon forms a T-Square with Mercury, Neptune, and Saturn today. This is a highly tense, possibly emotionally difficult contact. Keep your perspective and work for clarity in communications. Emotional energies may cycle dramatically between confusion from Neptune to depression from Saturn.

13 Mar: The Moon squares the Sun and Uranus. At the First Quarter evaluate your work and make needed adjustments. The Uranian energy creates novel experiences and probably some nervous tension as well.

14 Mar:  The Moon conjoins Mars and becomes part of the Mystic Rectangle today. Emotional energy is intensified; argument or conflict is possible. If used wisely, though, this may be an excellent time to push hard on projects and to transform your thinking. Be open to radical ideas.

15 Mar: The Moon closes the week in a quiet mode. Relax after a week of intense work!

CosmicExpress, week of 16 March

Posted on Mar 16th, 2008 by Tom Sidebottom : Concrescence Enabler Tom Sidebottom
We’re looking at the week beginning 16 March 2008. The Moon is Full on the 20th  in a spectacular Grand Square with the Sun, Mars, and Pluto.  Until the Full Moon, continue to push forward to launch your work for this lunar cycle. After the Moon is Full, switch your strategy to harvest the results of your good work.

Theme transits this week
: The Mars / Pluto configuration continues again this week, which sustains a more intense, obsessive work style.  The Mystic Rectangle we felt last week continues until the beginning of Spring. The configuration links the Mars/Pluto opposition with the Saturn/Neptune opposition.Mercury, Mars, Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto make a difficult pairing, but the Mystic Rectangle creates real opportunities for spiritual development and transformation.

The Mystic Rectangle combines these major planets into a single whole. The challenge is to channel the unbelievable energy of Mars / Pluto to transform the Saturn / Neptune issues of dissatisfaction and disillusionment: the by-product of an excessively materialistic worldview.

As the Mystic Rectangle ends the Sun forms a T-Square with Mars and Pluto. This is an incredibly powerful, dynamic configuration. Power plays and control issues take center stage, but the incredible potential benefit from revolutionary intensity make this a configuration that we want to use to  its maximum. Plan some down time toward the end of the week, because of this  combination places tremendous stress on the body.

The week’s net: My advice is much the same as for last week: Prepare for a transformative week with continued intense energy and the return of the Saturn / Neptune issue of dealing with disillusionment that we’ll be experiencing for some time to come. Take care not to become involved in power struggles, but use the energy to burn through issues that have been plaguing you.

On the 16th we start the week with the Moon trining the Sun. This creates expansive emotional energy. Enjoy  time with those your love.

17 Mar:  The Moon is quiet today.

18 Mar: The Moon opposes Neptune, and approaches a conjunction with Saturn. Emotionally, the Moon and Neptune want a flowing, opening emotional situation, with as little contact with reality as possible. As the Moon moves toward Saturn, however, the energy suddenly changes to one of stark emotional reality. Maintain your perspective and balance today and tomorrow, because this configuration can produce mood swings and unpredictable feeling states.

19 Mar: The Moon conjoins Saturn, and joins the Mystic Rectangle. The Moon and Saturn always tend toward emotionally depressive states. The opposition to Mercury, enables us to achieve greater clarity about our emotions. The dramatic energy that Mars and Pluto bring to the configuration direct us away from depression toward practical solutions to our emotional issues. If possible, spend some time in meditation away from others.

20 Mar: The Moon opposes Uranus today. The Uranian energy creates novel experiences and probably some nervous tension as well. Regardless of the temptation, avoid multitasking because this is very taxing to the body’s energy.

21 Mar:  The Moon is Full today, and creates a Grand Cross with Mars and Pluto. Emotional energy is intensified; argument or conflict is possible. If used wisely, though, this may be an excellent time to push hard on projects and to transform your thinking. Be open to radical ideas.

22 Mar
: The Moon squares Jupiter today, creating an environment where we can relax and decompress from a week of incredible stress and opportunity. Avoid excesses.

CosmicExpress, week of 23 March

Posted on Mar 23rd, 2008 by Tom Sidebottom : Concrescence Enabler Tom Sidebottom
We’re looking at the week beginning 23 March 2008. The Moon forms the Third Quarter on the 29th  in a T-Square with the Sun, Mars, and Pluto.  Until the Third Quarter, continue to harvest the results of your good work. After that point, switch your emphasis to release those things that you no longer need for your future endeavors.

Theme transits this week
: The Mars / Pluto configuration begins to break up this week. We’ve looked at the Mars / Pluto opposition before: You can make tremendous use of the intense energy, but take care not to ride roughshod over those around you. This contact can be tough on relationships, so keep your perspective. Avoid power plays and control issues.

The Sun is ending its T-Square with Mars and Pluto.

Mercury, Venus, and Uranus combine that most of the week to create the possibility for real innovation in our thinking, our communications with others, and our relationships. Explore the possibility of reaching out to those you love in novel ways. Embrace new experiences whenever possible. The potential downside in this contact is excessive nervous tension from attempting to do too many things at once. Avoid multitasking because this is very taxing to the body’s energy.

The week’s net:  With the gradual loss of the Mars/Pluto opposition we should see an overall reduction in intense work and control issues with others.

On the 23rd we start the week with the Moon trining Neptune and sextiling Pluto. This creates a lovely, expansive environment for fantasy life and inner development. Plan to take some time for inner work.

24 Mar
:  The Moon trines Mars and sextiles Saturn today. This creates an emotional environment that is supportive for concrete, energetic work. It is a good time for business negotiation.

25 Mar: The Moon squares Neptune, trines Mercury and Venus, and sextiles Jupiter. The Moon and the Neptune want a flowing, opening emotional situation, with as little contact with reality as possible. Emotionally we can focus on our illusions, letting them take the place of reality. Fortunately, the contact with Mercury and Venus helps provide positive communications with others and the desire for real relationship.

26 Mar: The Moon squares Saturn and Neptune. This configuration is our greatest challenge this week. The Moon and Saturn always tend toward emotionally depressive states, while the Moon and Neptune want as little contact with reality as possible. Maintain your perspective today. Mood swings are likely to be an issue as we oscillate between stark reality and fantasy that we cannot realize.

27 Mar: The Moon squares Venus, Mercury, and Uranus today. The Uranian energy creates novel experiences and probably some nervous tension as well. With the involvement of Venus and Mercury, this provides us great relief from yesterday’s tensions and constrictions. Let yourself move emotionally, and reach out to those you love. Regardless of the temptation, avoid multitasking because this is very taxing to the body’s energy.

28 Mar:  The Moon continues its contact with Venus, Uranus, and Mercury today. Expect yesterday’s energies to continue today. As the day goes on, the Moon approaches Pluto, which intensifies emotional desires.

29 Mar: The Moon conjoins Pluto today, and forms a T-Square with the Sun and Mars. This closes the week with intense emotional energy. Argument or conflict is possible. Avoid power plays and control issues with others, and maintain your perspective. When used properly, this is an excellent time to make great strides on projects that you are endeavoring to complete. Take some time to decompress because this configuration can create tremendous nervous tension.
