We’re looking at the week beginning 6 April 2008. The Moon is New as the week begins. Launch into your new efforts for this lunar cycle.
(My apologies for not having written a post last week. I've been finishing up a large project at work. I'm glad to be back with you this week!)
Theme transits this week: As the week continues the Sun and Mercury form a powerfully positive and energetic T-Square with Mars and Jupiter. Mars and Jupiter expand physical energy and open the door to productive work. The Sun is our own physical vitality, so we become engaged physically with work in a positive way. The configuration should energize our physical body and prepare us for productive work. As Mercury engages the configuration we should see a burst of communication and business activity. This is an excellent time for business negotiations. Possible downsides include too much consumption. Plan to enjoy this configuration by embracing Spring’s energy: pursue physical activities, especially those that bring you in touch with nature.
Venus squares Pluto all this week. This is exciting in relationship, but can create obsessions and compulsions around partners and lovers. Enjoy the passion, but stay balanced to avoid power plays and control issues.
The week’s net: Embrace your work this week and explore new business opportunities. Take care in relationships not to let passion turn into obsession.
On the 6th we start the week with the New Moon square both Jupiter and Mars. Our emotions become involved in the dynamic energy around work and physical accomplishment. Enjoy time reconnecting with nature. This is a peak Spring-time aspect, so feel the Earth’s energy in full swing.
7 Apr: The Moon sextiles Mars. This creates an emotional environment that is supportive forenergetic work. It is a good time for business negotiation.
8 Apr: The Moon squares Neptune, sextiles Uranus, and trines Jupiter. The Moon and the Neptune want a flowing, opening emotional situation, with as little contact with reality as possible. Emotionally we can focus on our illusions, letting them take the place of reality. Fortunately, the contact with Jupiter supports positive emotional contacts, and Uranus adds a jolt of the new.
9 Apr: The Moon sextiles the Sun, Mercury, and Venus today. These aspects provide real support emotionally. Spend time with those you love, and reach out to communicate with friends and family.
10 Apr: The Moon squares Uranus today. The Uranian energy creates novel experiences and probably some nervous tension as well. Regardless of the temptation, avoid multitasking because this is very taxing to the body’s energy.
11 Apr: The Moon approaches Mars and squares Venus today. It’s high relationship energy. Spend time with those you love, and explore bringing your relationship back in touch with nature and the power of Spring. This positive energy continues into tomorrow.
12 Apr: The Moon joins the powerful T-Square with the Sun, Mars, and Jupiter, and trines Uranus. Re-evaluate your work for this lunar cycle, and enjoy the emotional support that this configuration supplies. Explore the novel, particularly new experiences at the physical level. Take a day off and let the expansive energy fill and inspire you.

We’re looking at the week beginning 13 April 2008. The Moon is waxing all week toward the Full Moon just at the beginning of next week. Press forward with your projects - and keep in mind that Saturday the 19th has a group of unbelievably supportive aspects - which we’ll review below.
Theme transits this week: The Sun and Mercury move away from last week’s T-Square with Mars and Jupiter. Venus begins to move in to take their place. Mars and Jupiter expand physical energy and open the door to productive work. Venus represents relationships and art, and we are becoming engaged with the energies of Spring in our relationships. The configuration should energize relationships. Take care for possible excessive consumption; remember that balance is always the best strategy for working with planetary energies.
The Sun and Mercury move into a Grand Trine with Saturn and Pluto by mid-week. This is strongly supportive of intense, productive work. Press forward with business goals; the Mercury connection should enable positive communication and successful negotiation. It’s important to be concrete in your business aims: bring lofty ideas down to earth. Stress practical work.
The week’s net: Embrace your work this week. Press forward in business negotiations and make progress in practical terms. Relationship should experience an energetic boost as the week goes on.
On the 13th we start the week with the Moon trining Venus. Devote extra time to your relationships and enjoy a bit of sensual ease.
14 Apr: The Moon trines the Sun and Mercury, and opposes Neptune. Moon and Neptune combine to produce inspiring - but dreamy - emotional states. Avoid serious business negotiations for fear of miscommunication. The Sun and Mercury help direct the Moon’s emotional nature in a positive way. This contact may be positive for personal relationships - just watch for misunderstandings.
15 Apr: The Moon conjoins Saturn and forms a Grand Trine with the Sun and Mercury, and with Pluto. Normally Moon / Saturn is an emotionally bleak contact, as Saturn demands realistic assessment of emotional states. But the Grand Trine gives us a way to balance this energy with the combination of soul and spirit (Sun), and clearer communication (Mercury). Be clear and honest in communication, and expect others to meet you more than half-way.
16 Apr: The Moon opposes Uranus today, completely changing yesterday’s conservative emotional pressure. Uranus injects the New into emotional matters. Prepare for the unexpected, and watch for excessive nervous tension that Uranus often creates.
17 Apr: The Moon squares Pluto today. Take care for excessive emotional states that may border on obsession. Avoid settings where control issues arise.
18 Apr: The Moon opposes Venus today, and this energy magnifies tomorrow. It’s high relationship energy. Spend time with those you love, and explore bringing your relationship back in touch with nature and the power of Spring. This positive energy increases tomorrow.
19 Apr: All the planets are involved in a massive configuration. The Moon forms a Grand Square with Venus, Jupiter, and Mars. The Grand Square can often be a difficult energy, but these four planets should create the potential for tremendous growth in relationship. The issue likely is feeling trapped by circumstances, but there are ways around this seeming block. Uranus continues to trine Mars and sextile Jupiter, so there’s the push into the new. Plan to spend time in relationship today, and work hard to break through repetitive patterns and limitations that you may be feeling. Explore the novel, particularly new experiences at the physical level. Take a day off and let the expansive energy fill and inspire you.

We’re looking at the week beginning 20 April 2008. The Moon is Full as the week begins. Begin harvesting the results of your hard work for this lunar cycle.
Theme transits this week: Venus continues in its T-Square with Mars and Jupiter.
The Sun and Mercury continue with their Grand Trine with Saturn and Pluto by mid-week. This is strongly supportive of intense, productive work. Press forward with business goals; the Mercury connection should enable positive communication and successful negotiation. It’s important to be concrete in your business aims: bring lofty ideas down to earth. Stress practical work.
The week’s net: Focus on celebrating relationship, especially the physical aspects of relationship, this week. This is the injection of Spring energy into our lives and loves - take advantage of it! Press forward in business negotiations and make progress in practical terms.
On the 20th we start the week with the Full Moon in a Kite with the Sun, Mercury, Saturn, and Pluto. This is a highly supportive aspect for relationship work, especially relating relationship to real world needs and desires. Devote extra time to your relationships and enjoy a bit of sensual ease.
21 Apr: The Moon forms another Kite today, with Mars, Jupiter, and Uranus. Again, this is great cosmic support for our emotional life, but this energy accents the practical and work life. This is an excellent time for negotiations in business. Expect the novel (Uranus) to inject a completely new approach to problems you’ve been working through, especially issues and concerns with other people.
22 Apr: The Moon squares Saturn and Neptune today. This is probably the most problematic day this week from an emotional aspect. Moon / Saturn is an emotionally bleak contact, as Saturn demands realistic assessment of emotional states. Moon / Neptune is emotional escapism, which causes problems with Saturn. Maintain your perspective, and avoid glum moods.
23 Apr: The Moon is quiet today.
24 Apr: The Moon trines Venus and sextiles Neptune today. This is highly positive for love relationships - maybe viewed with a touch of rose-colored glasses. Explore new art, or - better - take time for inner meditative work. Relaxation is highly beneficial after the intense business-oriented energies of the week.
25 Apr: The Moon conjoins Pluto and enters a Grand Trine with the Sun and Saturn today. There’s a chance for imbalanced, obsessive emotions, but the Sun and Saturn actually promote real balance and harmony. Again, today is excellent for making progress in building solid business relationships. This contact can be very supportive physically as well, so make sure you invest care in your body.
26 Apr: The Moon moves to trine Mercury and sextile Uranus - both excellent for intense, unusual communications with others. Embrace new communications technologies, and reach out to others today.

We’re looking at the week beginning 27 April 2008. The Moon forms the Third Quarter on the 28th. Prepare to release those things you no longer need for the upcoming lunar cycle.
Theme transits this week: Venus separates from its T-Square with Mars and Jupiter and forms a Grand Trine with Saturn and Pluto. Saturn and Pluto aren’t the first planets you think of when contemplating the artistic and relationship-oriented Venusian energies - but this configuration should be stabilizing and energizing at the same time. Saturn and Pluto are the immovable object meeting the irresistible force. Venus and Saturn foster relationship stability, while Venus and Pluto represent obsessive energies and deep-seated changes. Combining these together we have the potential to spend serious time with our relationship partners looking at issues that we aren’t often considering. Avoid getting swept into control issues and don’t resort to power plays as a way of forcing your way.
Mars and Jupiter continue their opposition with a trine/sextile from Uranus. Mars and Jupiter represent successful work and real-world accomplishment. Uranus injects innovation, a dash of technology, and the desire to break free of established approaches. Give yourself a little room to run and see if you can manifest something new!
The week’s net: This is another relationship week, but one that’s not so light-hearted as last week. Get into the significant issues in your relationships, and see if you can uncover blocks that are keeping you from your best relationship. There’s good continuing support for business, too.
On the 27th we start the week with the Moon conjoining Jupiter and involved in the last day of the T-Square with Mars and Venus. This is highly supportive for business and personal relationship support. Enjoy and participate fully in the day’s potential.
28 Apr: The Moon forms the Third Quarter today. Focus on reassessing this lunar cycle and release those things you no longer need for your future work.
29 Apr: The Moon conjoins Neptune and squares Mercury today. Moon and Neptune together support inner experiences, meditation, and insight. They’re not ideal for business communication and problem solving. Watch for miscommunication that can block your progress.
30 Apr: The Moon opposes Saturn and continues to square Mercury today. Moon and Saturn force us to look at emotional and relationship issues at a practical level. The overall energy can be a bit of a downer. Keep your perspective, work on concrete issues, and communicate clearly with others.
1 May: The Moon conjoins Uranus today. This is the complete opposite of yesterday’s downer with Saturn. Uranus wants us to break free of emotional limitations and conventions. Just like yesterday, stay moderate: you don’t want to break your commitments any more than you want to be shackled by them. Nervous tension may result from too much stimulation. The plus is the Moon trines Mars and sextiles Jupiter: push some of the day’s novel energy into your practical work. Try brainstorming solutions outside your normal comfort zone, and run some experiments with your business life.
2 May: The Moon squares Pluto today. There’s a chance for imbalanced, obsessive emotions. Avoid power plays and control issues.
3 May: The Moon squares Jupiter today - expanding our emotional life and again pushing us to practical business achievement and toward the good life. Avoid excesses. Success comes through moderation and through complete enjoyment of what actually is there for us. Reach out and celebrate your relationships.
