CosmicExpress, week of 4 May

Posted on May 3rd, 2008 by Tom Sidebottom : Concrescence Enabler Tom Sidebottom
We’re looking at the week beginning 4 May 2008. The Moon is New on the 5th. Release those things you’re not needing for the next lunar cycle, and prepare to launch into new projects beginning on the 5th.

Theme transits this week
: Almost all major transits dissolve as the week begins. The Mars / Jupiter opposition of the past few weeks dissipates. We’ll begin to feel a Sun square Neptune as the week ends. Neptune is non-physical reality, inspiration, mysticism, spirituality - and illusion. It’s key not to project ideal visions onto our everyday life, because life has a way of not being in alignment with the divine. If you can, take a breather to expand inwardly. It’s not a super time for business development - except in areas of new media and communication, where new vision can create a dramatic leap. Avoid drugs and alcohol.

The week’s net: We should see a reduction in the overall level of energy as the week continues. Spend some time inwardly, and let the outside world go just a bit.

On the 4th we start the week with the Moon conjoining Venus and forming a Grand Trine with Saturn and Pluto, and squaring Mars. This is highly supportive for relationship development, especially relating relationship to real world needs and desires. Devote extra time to your relationships and enjoy a bit of sensual ease.

5 May
:  The Moon is New today, and squares Neptune. It’s time to begin new efforts for this lunar cycle. With the Neptune involvement, focus inwardly and explore feelings and images that emerge from within. It’s not a fabulous time for external work and for business. Avoid drugs and alcohol.

6 May: The Moon conjoins Mercury and squares Saturn. Moon / Saturn is an emotionally bleak contact, as Saturn demands realistic assessment of emotional states. The Mercury involvement makes communicating about your feeling states easier and helpful.

7 May: The Moon squares Uranus today. This gives us a dramatic shift from yesterday’s constriction of Saturn into a world of rapidly shifting feelings. Nervous tension rises with increased stimulation. Maintain your balance with centering work.

8 May: The Moon opposes Pluto today. Again emotions shift to a more intense, obsessive mode. Avoid conflict with those you’re close to. Power plays and control issues will likely surface.

9 May:  The Moon opposes Jupiter, sextiles the Sun, and trines Uranus today, which gives us a welcome relief of emotional tensions from the past few days. Plan to spend some time with those you love, and open yourself to novel experiences. Spread your wings just a bit!

10 May: The Moon moves to conjoin Mars today. This energizes feelings - at the potential risk of argument over emotional matters. Focus on your relationships, and use the high energy to enjoy yourself.

CosmicExpress, week of 11 May

Posted on May 10th, 2008 by Tom Sidebottom : Concrescence Enabler Tom Sidebottom
We’re looking at the week beginning 11 May 2008. The Moon forms the First Quarter on the 11th. It’s time to check out the progress of your work so far this lunar cycle. Make needed corrections and push forward.

Theme transits this week
: The Sun squares Neptune, and begins to square Saturn as the week goes on. This is a potentially tough configuration. Neptune is non-physical reality, spiritual insight, mysticism - and delusion. Combined with the Sun, our vitality is redirected from normal physical reality to look inward. This is just fine, but Saturn expects hard, diligent work, and self-definition. The problem is the conflict between earthy, hard-working Saturn and ethereal Neptune. We need to give each side its due. Spend time inwardly, and spend time defining your work and dedicating your efforts. The potential downside is a feeling of malaise where nothing useful happens. Take special care to support the body with excellent nutrition, rest, and exercise. Right thinking is important: avoid getting sucked into negative ruminations on what might have been.

Mercury squares Uranus by the week’s end. These two planets ignite thinking and communicating in very positive, energetic ways. Prepare for sudden insights and new ways of thinking. Watch for excessive nervous tension from too much stimulation, though.

The week’s net
: Overall energy may be compromised this week, so take special care to support yourself. As the week ends, capture new thinking and stretch out to exchange ideas with others.

On the 11th we start the week with the Moon squaring the Sun and Venus and opposing Neptune. Moon / Neptune is mystical inspiration, with a side of illusion and miscommunication. Be careful to avoid misunderstanding in your close relationships. Support your body by avoiding excess and getting plenty of rest.

12 May:  The Moon conjoins Saturn and continues to oppose Neptune today. Saturn wants us to define our emotional lives and to clear up unfinished business with others. This is never fun, and today’s energy may be a bit down. With the Neptune involvement, focus inwardly and explore feelings and images that emerge from within. It’s not a fabulous time for external work and for business. Avoid drugs and alcohol.

13 May: The Moon squares Mercury. The Mercury involvement makes communicating about your feeling states easier and helpful. Our moods should improve a bit.

14 May: The Moon opposes Uranus today, and forms a Kite with the Sun and Jupiter. This is the high point of the week energy-wise. Explore your ideas, expect novel shifts and the unexpected. This is the best day this week for business dealings and negotiations. Nervous tension rises with increased stimulation. Maintain your balance with centering work.

15 May: The Moon squares Pluto today. Emotions shift to a more intense, obsessive mode. Avoid conflict with those you’re close to. Power plays and control issues will likely surface.

16 May:  The Moon squares Jupiter and forms a Grand Trine with Mercury and Neptune. This is another highly supportive day, so take advantage of the inner vision, renewed inspiration, and potential for business dealings. Plan to spend some time with those you love, and open yourself to novel experiences. Spread your wings just a bit!

17 May: The Moon moves to square Mars today, and it sextiles both Saturn and Pluto. This energizes feelings - at the potential risk of argument over emotional matters. Focus on your relationships, and use the high energy to enjoy yourself. Saturn and Pluto help by grounding energy, making it useful. Push to achieve your goals!

CosmicExpress, week of 18 May

Posted on May 17th, 2008 by Tom Sidebottom : Concrescence Enabler Tom Sidebottom
We’re looking at the week beginning 18 May 2008. The Moon is Full on the 19th  with a stressful configuration. Begin to harvest your hard work for this lunar cycle.

Theme transits this week
: The Sun continues to square Saturn and Neptune all week, and Venus also squares both planets for the entire week. This is a potentially tough configuration. Neptune is non-physical reality, spiritual insight, mysticism - and delusion. Combined with the Sun, our vitality is redirected from normal physical reality to look inward. Combined with Venus, we can fall in love with the divine, but when we project this ‘ideal’ love onto a physical partner, we get disappointed. In addition, Saturn expects hard, diligent work, and self-definition from the Sun, and proper duty and diligence toward family and partners from Venus. Give your partner a break, but begin to define clearly what the relationship means and what each of you wants from it.

Mercury squares Uranus all week long. These two planets ignite thinking and communicating in very positive, energetic ways. Prepare for sudden insights and new ways of thinking. Watch for excessive nervous tension from too much stimulation, though.

The week’s net: This is another week of problematic energy. Our overall energy may be compromised this week, so take special care to support yourself. Take it easy on partners, and begin to negotiate clearly what your relationship means. Capture new thinking and stretch out to exchange ideas with others.

On the 18th  we start the week with the Moon quiet. Take the chance for some R&R, especially considering tomorrow’s Full Moon.

19 May:  The Moon is Full today, and it forms a Grand Square with Sun, Venus, Saturn, and Neptune. This tough configuration emphasizes the week’s theme: the uneasy relationship between Neptune wanting things in a way inspired by fairy tales, and Saturn making us realize that we’re quite far from the fantasies of our dreams. This is a difficult configuration for relationships. Tread carefully to work through bad lines of communications with partners. You want clarity without destroying the fabric of your relationship. Avoid drugs and alcohol.

20 May: The Moon continues to square Saturn, but the emotional downer we felt yesterday should begin to subside.

21 May: The Moon forms a T-Square with Mercury and Uranus today. Energy shifts dramatically from the past two days of depression to a high speed mode where we’re being challenged emotionally by rapidly changing mental stimulation. Explore your ideas, expect novel shifts and the unexpected. This is the best day this week for business dealings and negotiations. Nervous tension rises with increased stimulation. Maintain your balance with centering work.

22 May: The Moon conjoins Pluto today. Emotions shift to a more intense, obsessive mode. Avoid conflict with those you’re close to. Power plays and control issues will likely surface.

23 May:  The Moon is quiet today.

24 May: The Moon conjoins Jupiter today, which gives us real relief from the week’s rapid mood shifts. Plan to relax with your loved ones!
